If you're going to fight us for the last spot on the podium then 3rd is a guarentee for you. With the luck we have at MXdN Tommy will probably get hit by a rogue elephant on the last lap of the final moto

Apparently it was evacuated from the circus to the countryside during the war and died round here.

Sucks for Gibbs but I would argue that your team is actually stronger with Waters in it. He has GP experience and was actually on the podium at Maggiora last year

In the mud. If it's dry it's a total different situation. I don't believe Strijbos will win a race this time neither.

Yeah I agree, the conditions were very challenging last year. But who's to say it won't be muddy again? Either way, that track has to have some good memories for Waters, I'm surprised they didn't pick him in the first place

How is it much stronger, Gibbs will go down as one of the most under rated riders ever in Aus.

Guy comes back from being off the bike for pretty much 4-5 months leading into this years nationals and runs with the two returning riders from the GP series week in week out and only loses the championship at the final round.

(Ferris was the better rider for sure at Coolum)

Certainly don't think team Aus is any weaker with Waters in over Gibbs, but not MUCH better either.

There really was nothing between the three of them all year.

The other thing is, there is no official word that I know of that Waters is heading over yet? Remember there is no Government funding for the Aussie team this year, so either the rider, their team / manufacture would be putting up a lot of the coin for each of the riders.

There has been no word from MA and the only mention so far on the MA web page is the official PR from KTM Australia regarding Gibbs being out.

What other options are there for team Australia, No one else was really close to the top three, Mosig was the closest, but dam those three lap up to 8th twice in the first moto at Coolum!

Not sure if Metty has recovered from his Canadian crash, maybe Byrne needs to pull on the boots of Waters can't make it.

The way the Hoff is riding at the moment a podium looks very possible! What has suddenly clicked with him?!

I thought this might be our year to scrape a 3rd but I think you guys are looking much stronger than us right now. You just need one good ride from of Bogers and no bad luck and I think you could easily get 3rd if not better.

Waters has the European experience and will be less likely to be effected by the wow factor!

As for mx2 i just dont know, if he wasn't injured i would have been happier with Lawrence.
Obviously Jedd will do his best, but it will be tough for him to break the top 20 in mx2.

Yeah could have been, but he has just landed back in Aus.

I thought we may have seen a release from MA today, spoke to the owner of Wilson's Motul Suzuki, Coolair racing ( I know it goes something like that lol) He would not say either way but said we should know today if Waters and the team were heading over.

What's the chance of getting Bogers a factory KTM since his teammates are KTM factory riders and he is also on KTM?

Team Orange in multiple ways!!!

They gave Coldenhoff a factory engine for the MXoN when he was still with standing construct i believe. And theres Shaun Simpson who got factory material in the past (and of course is currently running it) so who knows!

Also, Jeffrey rode his 450 last weekend in the belgium championship and went 2-1-1 so he's got some good racing laps on the big bike.

Big blow for Russia not having Tonkov in the team. If they could get their best 3 guys they could have a really good result, but it seems like either Bobryshev or Tonkov is always missing
