Tomac, Gajsir, Barcia

Webb, Herlings, Covington

Just a wild guess! I'm just really looking forward to this race. I do wish Chad Reed was racing though. He can still win on any given weekend.

Cairoli and Herlings will be the top European finishers, and both on the podium.

Tomac and Barcia look like the standout AMA names in the 450 class. Would be no surprise to see either of them winning.

With a 'home' advantage of sorts, I would expect them to be running close to the front. But then the GP class is stacked, and you have to be pretty rapid just to crack the top ten most weekends. We'll see.

How Herlings performs will be the most interesting aspect of the racing, for me. When fit - and sometimes even when not - Herlings is pretty much untouchable on a 250 in the GPs, as any fool know.

Do Webb or Cianciarulo have any to offer Herlings, and vice versa?

Think Anstie might have a solid day as well, given he's in form, and has prior experience of racing full time in the U.S..

I think the US boys will have the MX2 class on lockdown, with Herlings finishing somewhere in the top three. Without Ferrandis, Pootjes, Tonkov or Petrov the class is quite lightweight.

MXGP could be anyones but youd have to say Tomac, Gajser and Cairoli will be favourites.

As always, starts will be critical!

(Gajser will be in safety cruise mode for the championship)

MXGP

1. Cairoli
2. Gajser
3. Desalle
4. Febvre
5. Nagl

MX2

1. Herlings
2. Anstie
3. Webb
4. Seewer
5. Forkner

Herlings wins easily, 1-1; MX2 field is thinned by injury, though, so Americans should do well.
3rd and 5th is doing well? What would your list look like if mx2 field wasn't "thinned with injury"?

Tomac
Cairoli
Gasjer

Herlings
Webb
Forkner
