EMX250 vice champion Sanayei does his MX2 debut in Charlotte MXGP and will be racing in Glen Helen too with his Bud Racing team.

How would he do in those races?

EMX champion Thomas Kjer Olsen did his MX2 debut in Swiss GB going 7-11 for 8th overall...

Kjer Olsen has been a class above all year , Sanayei isn't quite the best of the rest , but his late season consistency and speed has been impressive.

I think he is a better prospect than Covington , I expect 10-15 place at best,

Anywhere between 10-20 depending on what kind of start he gets

Sanayei started season slow after his back injury, but in last 5 race weekends he had 6 moto wins of 10 and Kjer Olsen didn't have any.

On the other hand Kjer Olsen took 6 moto wins in first 5 race weekends of the season, but Sanayei didn't have any in those first weekends.

Olsen was riding for the championship too, his gap on the rest was so big, he could settle for 2nd or 3rd. But I really believe Sanayei can do great on home soil.

Didn't know Sanayei was making his debut at Charlotte MXGP.. Very cool. He used to train not far from here at ClubMX

Top10 won't be easy with all the additional fast riders form the US, but I still think it's a realistic goal for him

I think Darian will place better here. Besides , he got way stronger as the season progressed. I had heard was dealing with some sort of injury at the beginning of the season , so he didn't show his true potential at the first 1/2 of the season. I'm thinking some where between 5th - 8th.

Didn't Kjær Olsen ride mx2 before and then dropped down due to getting a better and cheaper ride for EMX?

I have much faith in the #457. Has the desire, attitude, ability, work ethic, and willingness to learn all on his side.

x2 he killed it in the second half of the EMX250 season. And he sounded really hyped up / excited about moving up to the MX2 class in his interviews.

I'd say he has TOP 10 results in him.

I think Thomas and Stefan are either brothers or cousins.. definately related.

TKO has been the most dominant EMX 250 rider for a while , lots of good riders have not even got close to the title.
Kouwenberg won last year , and Steven Clarke won it before that .. there are some proper fast lads that didnt even get close.

Adam Sterry was 3rd , went to GP's Ben Watson was fast enough to be in contention but didnt , James Dunn struggled to qualify and went to GP's instead.. its hyper competitive, Josiah Natzke has done nothing this year despite being top dog in EMX125.

Sanayei has had a good year, i dont think he will struggle in MX2 , but there are no slow guys in there.. everyone hauls the mail , and one or 2 seconds is the difference between making the cut easily and going home.

5th-8th seems very optimistic to me. Top 15 would be good for him i think!

Sanayei was 6 seconds off Anstie's pace in moto 1 and 8 in the second MX2 race, thats somewhere between 18-24 .

Its a big jump to MX2.

I would say right around 15th-20th. There will be some fast AMA guys there that will be a tough task to beat.

Prado from EMX250 is also coming to USA, so they can battle again in Charlotte and Glen Helen. Sanayei beat him most of the time, but KTM has pretty big expectations for Prado, so it's interesting to see how he is doing in MX2 too

Watched this kid beat alessi and several other top pros at the hog heaven shootout a couple of years ago before he got injured. With his confidence right now and on a track no one else has ridden, I think he could be top 10
