So I'm flying to Denver for Labor Day and was chatting with my buddy about my plans and whatnot. He says to me "careful dude, you don't want to get lost and caught by the Illuminati while you're at the airport..." which was confusing to say the least. But he went on to explain the conspiracy theory behind the construction of the Denver Airport and how it was $3 billion over budget, unused tunnels, weird alien and illuminati markings, arrows pointing to nowhere, hidden corridors, etc. Said it was built by the "New World Airport Commission" (or something like that) that doesn't even exist...

He said "dude I can't believe you have never heard of this before..."

I didn't really believe him until I googled "Denver Airport Conspiracy" and about a thousand videos came up.

Have you guys heard about this before or am I just way behind the times?

i got some of the worst diarrhea of my life after flying to Denver, i also hooked up with a waitress at Tilted Kilt the same weekend, so you may have a good argument on this one

(the diarrhea and Tilted Kilt food may be connected... the plot thickens)

Heard all about this as well.
Everytime I hear how much it was over budget the tag gets higher and higher like a fish story, Fish gets bigger and more embellished.

Go through that airport at least once a year sometimes three or more and never had any weird shit happen.

I fly to Denver about 10 times per year and have heard of it. After learning about it I looked for some the unusual things and I must agree it is strange, but I don't buy into it. I do have to agree that the murals seem awfully strange to have in an airport though..

real close friend of mine ran a really successful stucco company, i mean VERY successful. anyway, about that same time (2008) he started going off the deep end with the tin-foil hat, government conspiracies, and all that. only problem is he never surfaced. last i heard he's living off the grid somewhere in BFE Colorado and will only contact anyone via email at a couple different Libraries he frequents. pretty strange stuff really.
