Dumb thread but...

Who do you think has the better package right now between Tim Gajser and Ken Roczen ? And which of these two has the better chances of being champ this year ?

I think they both are in the perfect spot to be a champion this year. Depending on how long Febvre is out, i cant see anyone challenge Tim at the moment. Febvre was the only one with similar speed. I think Roczen will have some great battles with Tomac in the upcoming races.

Who is the fastest of TG and KR? Well no one knows.

Hopefully we will see them both at mxon. The worst scenario would be that Roczen wont race because new team, and Gajser will not qualify because no one else from his country is any good.

Can't say for sure.
KR94 has everything dialed in at the moment, little mistakes, great speed, fast lap times.

TG243 is crazy fast. The only problem he has is he crashes a lot. He now has a nice points lead but if you look back he had small tip overs in a lot of motos.

I'm leaning towards Roczen just because he has a little more consistency at the moment.

Roczen has the better , uhh humm, package , won in Europe and USA, supercross etc, so is the better overall in my eyes. But I'm bored of Roczen now and I hope Gasjer doesnt bother with the MXDN and goes straight to supercross training, comes out swinging, wins his first year sx and the nationals, unlikely, but would be amazing to see.

Roczen's experience makes him better right now, in my opinion. But damn, Gajser is good. In a few years, Gajser could be on top of the motocross world.

Both are doing incredible so far, and both are on their way to a championship i'd say!

I think they would be a very even match for each other right now, both are dialed in right now. So awesome watching Gasjer right now , really agressive and flicking the fofiddy around like 250

Would be awesome to see them race at one of the USA GP's this year but I doubt Roczen will enter any of them unfortunately.

Unfortunately there is little insight regarding Gajser’s camp/program here in the USA so it’s difficult for me to compare the entire package. As entertaining as he is, Matthes can’t even pronounce Gajser (#yeahnoyeahnowhatever). Who does Gajser train with? Where does he do most of his training? Are the rumors true that his move to the US is contingent upon an MX1 title?

I think Gajser is very hungry and obviously Febrve’s injury helped. Suppose Febrve is back this weekend at Mantova. If he’s not too shaken up, he can still steal some points from Gajser. 7 rounds left, right? If Gajser has a bad moto, points could still tighten up, no?

Roczen isn’t really being challenged IMO. With 8 rounds left, I think Roczen can have a bad moto and still rebound. So I have to give the edge to Roczen as far as securing a title this year. But deep down I think they both get titles this year.

Matthes is getting worse and worse with the GP stuff. He can't pronounce 50% of the riders names and clearly not even watching the races.

I don't think we can compare Gajser and Roczen since Roczen has had a way longer career(went pro at the age of 15) and is 2 years older than Gajser. And Roczen has already raced multiple SX seasons. Gajser will make his debut in MEC this year and probably move to USA in 2018 full time.
