The KX looks good, now go find a 1979 KX80 and you can have an old one like me!

What is it with all these resto bikes with no chains on them? Why you wanna push them everywhere you go?

Oh, put some tires on that thing.

Looks goog though. I had a 1987 KX80 big wheel. First year of the big wheel 80s.

I use to have an '89 KX 80. I loved that bike...

Your restore project is awesome.

I raced one of those a couple times, it had black fenders and graphics with flames. It was nice, leaked a little anti freeze but that's no big deal

that's the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. That was my first two stroke I ever rode...it was a hand-me-down from my brother. I basically learned to ride on that exact bike. awesome!

I know, I was the same, except my first retirement came in '83. It was 17 years ago though!

Nice resto on that 80. I had an 1988 KX80, the first year for both front/rear disk brakes. I would love to find one in decent condition and fix it up. Thanks for sharing and bringing back memories.

Me too! I even had didn't graphics too. The rear fender was spray painted black. I got my first trophy on it in the 80 beginner class.

It leaked antifreeze too...
