it appears that you have something against a former 125 Champion. I would suggest that you, in the very least, have respect for a former Champion attempting to come back to something he loves and has worked hard for. Shae is one of the good guys in this sport and has the heart to give his best. Take a look in the mirror and see if you can say the same about yourself.
Good luck Shae, no matter what the results you are a winner to all that know you.

However, I thought he had some chronic disease like crohn's disease (sp?). I don't think a full season of pro sx would suit him well. In addition, he didn't exactly race against the best 125 pilots in the world. Seems his competition was Pingree, Sellards, Casey Johsnson, Casey Lytle, Jesseman, Ramsey and such. I'm not sure he's up to the task.
But, if he's out there, I'll root for him and wish him luck with his health issues.
in 2000 the names you mentioned were at the top or close. Shae has been ill but feels he has unfinished business to complete. As you said, if he is going to race, I will back his decision.
In the old days you were washed up at 25......this age has been greatly extended with older competitive riders kicking the young guns butts at 40......Cooper & Dowd.......Hoepefully Shea has another good 10 years in him.
