I have an 01 CR250 rear wheel that I'm gonna use as a practice or spare but it needs spokes. Are any aftermarket companies okay or is OEM the best way to go? Thanks.
New OEM - $104
Buchanans - $94.50
Lumpys price.... $40 USA shipped.
Mine is going to be a practice wheel as well so it doesn't need to look pretty!
The Shop
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
I dug the box out and the part number 06420-kz4-j40 is for the shorter outer rear spoke and I have 13 of these with the nipple still in the Honda bag......and a butt load out of the bag in both inner, outer & nipples.
I have sorted 5 complete sets of rear spokes with nipples....the bad news is..... according to the part number the spokes I have and on Buchanans site these only fit CR125-250/CRF450 2002-2004 ........ and You need 125/250/250F/450F 1989-2001 & 2005-2008 spokes. I do not know what the difference is but mine might still work. These are 8 3/8 & 8 1/4 long.
In sorting the spokes I made a discovery! The shorter spoke (outer) has a small dot on the flared end of the spoke.
