Youre right L&m did offer him a ride, then while he was negotiating with them they cut him lose because James showed intrest in them, so L&M cuts Ramsey, takes that money and the money for Reed and offers it to James. Chad was far from the bad guy in that deal.

Chad rode the SX series for peanuts and the Nationals for free, if he didnt win, he didnt make a dime. All he wanted was what he was worth this time around. Apparently someone thought he was worth his asking price.

Chad Reed was leading the 2008 Supercross championship and L&M offered Chad a deal for 2009 and 2010 and Chad turned it down, saying it wasn't enough money. This is TRUE.

L&M felt James Stewart would be a better fit for the L&M team and signed him up as soon as they came to terms.

Chad Reed won the 2009 Outdoor championship and Suzuki offered Chad a deal for 2010 (not sure about 2011) and Chad turned it down, saying it wasn't enough money. This is true.

Suzuki felt Dungey would be better for the team and finalized his contract before Chad's contract and Chad was angry that Suzuki want Dungey over him and started calling other teams. He got a better deal or a deal with Kawasaki and signed it.

What's the difference in this two situations? Not much. The deciding factors in both situations was that Chad Reed wanted more money and both teams felt if they were going to spend that kind of money, it was going to be with a rider they felt would make the best fit with the team.

Both teams came out ahead i the end.

Reed seems to be healthier than he's been in a while, and has growing confidence. Maybe he'll sit out Vegas and eye up his competition, and relax until he's comfortable on the new bike.

haha that would be amazing if the other rider was a brother of a poster but it's not. Yogi says time and time again he just wants to go race the Open and isn't looking for a ride. Now if that ride finds him...

Anyway, word is that it's one our Team USA members, you figure out which one needs a ride.... That's all I'm giving up

I was told by Chad himself that he is putting together a factory Husqvarna team together.

Damn do any of you guys know REED or JS1,were you there when contracts were being worked out?? Roger could'nt afford what REED was asking for so he [REED] went where he thought he would get more $$$!! I dont know about any of you guys but my $ isnt the same as it was 2-3yrs ago and if you look around some the SX races this year the stadium's were not filled to the roof ! Call it greed or self worth REED did what he felt he needed to do.He had a ride at suzuki he choose to leave it!

Until you see an official press release from someone don't count Reed off Suzuki, it's not over till it's over. Things can change between the last race of the season and the signing of contracts. Jus sayin.

And IF he ends up on a green bike his teammate will probably be from Michigan, not Washington.
