I'd say everyone must be different. Myself, I found the ski's easier.

I didn't like my feet strapped on the board, felt like handcuffs.

But.... I was a lot younger when I started skiing, I'll leave those boards for the kids.

I personally think skiing is harder. I've skied my entire life, tried out the boarding for a season on the east while in high school at some point. After the day and a half of falling on my ass, I picked it up pretty good. I just got bored with it though.

Different strokes for different folks.

Anybody who thinks it is easy to master either one is just a dumbass.

If you think you've mastered skiing, go strap on a pair of telemark skis. Take a video, I always enjoy a good laugh.

Lose the kids in the pow?

Those little buggers crack me up on the slopes. Balls to the walls most of the time. It's hilarious.

I'd love to ski the Y-not couloir at some point. You ever hit that up?
No, I snowboard. Tight chutes are no fun on a board.

Here's a view of Pheifferhorn from Maybird Gulch. We climbed the ridge to left in the photo, traversed across the backside and into Bells Canyon.

I don't know, can you ski a black diamond bump run? Because that what those little kids are dropping into, nothing like the gnar you'll see in the Poconos but still not too bad for little buggers.

Seriously Bobby, my wife is good freinds with this dude who only has one leg, he's a ski racer who races the disabled Olympics. The guy hauls ass and can carve a ski like a mother humper, the dude rips.

I agree, i have tried both and enjoyed them both.

I am hitting Breckenridge after Houston SX for 3 days of boarding, going to be awesome fun. I havent been on a snow mountain since 97, and our snow mountains are more like anthills compared to what you guys have.

For you.... yes very dangerous. For my little rippers not at all. The kids have been skiing 30+ days a year since they could walk. They are not gonna get any better by keeping then on blue groomed runs.
