hey Guy's I'm looking for some Maico 490 parts!

Let me know what you have & Yes I've tried Maico only & they said that they would have the parts in 2 weeks, but that was 8 weeks ago!

I need a shift shaft & pistons for a 490.

let me know what else you have that you might want to part with!

You try that Bill Eyler guy that is always on the swapmeet board? How about Joe Busby or Ron King?

yep, Bill would be my first contact - if he doesn't have it, he'd be the one to point you in the right direction. In the meantime I'd post up on Mark's Swapmeet site also.

I already checked with Ron about the shift shaft & he doesn't have any! Bill is a Maico only dealer & I spoke with Eric Cook who owns Maico only & he told me 2 weeks be fore he gets the shift shaft, That was months ago. I don't know Joe Busby??

Try Bill Brown at www.wulfsport.com , has the gear shifter shafts in stock and with british pound weakening against he dollar prices will be better for you.
Original Mahle 490cc pistons are "rarer than rocking horse shit" but Bill has Wiseco or Woosner quality alternatives.
Tell them Rob Kinsey sent ya.
