Just trying not to let this topic get shuffled pages back on the board. I honestly believe Blair will check in on nearly every site to see the support he has around the World and not only from MX fans either!!! Thanks for everyone who has written encouraging notes to Blair and his Family, I know it will not go un-noticed.

A lot of good memories there of the Superman. One thing that stands and has always stood out, is his good nature, he genuine and not superficial! I would want to be remembered like that!

*UPDATE*

Motocross rider Blair Morgan has been seriously injured in an accident that happened during one of the last practice sessions for the Montreal Supercross this past Saturday. His wide Terri provided an update on his husband's condition.

From Terri Blair Morgan's wife: As most of you know Blair has suffered a substantial injury due to a crash while practicing for Montreal Supercross at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal.

During Saturday afternoon practice in Montreal, Blair sustained substantial injuries to his middle back. A surgery was performed and went well, however it was soon discovered that as a result of the vertebrae separating from each other on impact, Blair's spinal cord was severed, leaving him with paralysis from his middle back down.

He was taken off the ventilator soon after surgery and has been progressing well since. This afternoon (September 22, 2008) he was moved out of ICU to the orthopaedic floor and arrangements are now being made for his transfer closer to home.

He is resting now and he is focused on recovering and working closely with the physiotherapists. I know as most of you do as well, Blair is a fighter and this incidence will not keep him down for long.

Special thanks to everyone for their well wishes, just so you know there are so many people rooting for Blair and we really appreciate it so much.

I had the exact same thoughts, G, after reading the devastating news that Blair has been paralyzed.

So, so sad!

Best Wishes to The Morgan family

I wish Stem Cell research was allowed, Blair could be fixed up and walking. Blair always seemed like a humble guy, a down to earth, family man. I wish him and his family all the best, and as good a recovery he can get.

Hi Premixjunky,

With the stuff they are jumping in snowcross, I wouldn't say that's much safer these days.

I wish Blair the best and can only hope that someday research advances far enough to fix spinal cord injuries.

Those are great shot of Blair. Just in case the dirt guys didn't know, Blair is to snocross what McGrath was to sx. My brother and I always tried to mimick his style on sleds, as does pretty much everybody who rides. My nephews worship the guy, and are sending picks to his site from years ago when he took the time to take photos with them, always has time for stuff like that. Good to hear Blair is in good spirits, and hope he knows what a good influence he is and how many people look up to him. jon z
