Two weeks ago Mike McDade and I packed up everything we could fit into a small pickup truck. We started in North Carolina and drove straight through to Connecticut. Rode in CT for a couple days then headed to Factory Connection in New Hampshire. Raced in Maine then drove to CT Sunday morning 5 hours, with NO AC baking in the sun! Monday morning we drove 10 hours in the blistering sun with NO AC again heading to Pittsburgh area! We were dying!! Even as we soaked in our own sweat we were determined to keep going!
Now we at Mike's families place in Ellwood City in PA. Yesterday we rode with some fast guys from PA and Mike looked good doing a strong 30 minute moto. Overshooting a jump passing Dowd at Minot, ME really aggravated his arm but he feels stronger now that we rode twice already this week. We are waiting on our new suspension and linkage from Factory Connection and can't wait to try it! Our plan is to go to the High Point National this weekend. His arm really isn't ready, so we decided to ride Saturday practice and make the call then. He wants to race cause its his home track, but really should wait it out until Colorado. Check the laptimes on Saturday Lites qualifying. We will be under the Warthog Racing Academy rig on the #434 Serious MX Honda and love when people come to visit!
We are the real definition of privateer!!

Check out 434 scrubbing under me the other day!

See ya at the races!

I looked at TJ Typhany's rig today.....bed in the front - bikes in the rear....missed Texas by a few spots....missed Daytona by .003 secs...He'll hit one soon!
Keep us updated with the progress. Sounds awesome.

I am running TC now and am really not happy with my bike so have been thinking about sending to FC.
I got it where it is OK but I am confident FC with their extensive testing on my bike(08 CRF 450) could make it better.
I was going to send it to them but tried to save money by going local.
see ya @ the race
