I spent the night in the Knothole Club watching the racing last night courtesy of the Gascard and just before the 450 Class Main started Lawrence came walking by still in his gear from the 250 Main and sat down with the Yamaha guys. Next thing you know he is taking his Jersey off signing it and gave it to this little kid, may have been with the yamaha guys i dont know, but that is beside the point.

Jason gets ragged on at every possible chance so i thought it was good to share something that proves he can quite possibly be the nice guy too.

I like J-Law.

One of my son's riding buddies looks like him, and we've been calling him "Little J-Law" for a couple of years.

Last year at GH, on Friday night, I was talking to the people camped next to us, and we were joking about how much A.J. looked like Lawrence.

Right then, Jason walked up and joined the conversation as if he were just another fan hanging out for the weekend.

He's very approachable, and a very nice guy, which is more than you can say for most of the riders of this era.

seriously, motogeezer is right, jlaw is all about bullshittin in the pits, and can keep a conversation going with anyone quite easy too.

some pro's are to big of pricks to even talk to the public...

The pits are where these kids (pros) grew up. They seem to feel more at home at the nationals than the supercross pits.

J Law is quick with it.....that's why everyone he ever rivals with ends up looking silly.

Think about it.....a verbal sparring with JLaw?

That's like Big Lenny running some game on Raddad.

That dipshit did that same practice day bullshit to my cousin at glen Helen. Flipping him off, trying to splash him in puddles, cutting the track to do it all over again.

When he left the track he hides behind his posse to avoid getting his ass kicked. I can't wait till he pulls that shit alone and gets his ass kicked. He might be a badass on the track but when the helmet comes off he's still a 120lb stoner.

i saw that happen to a buddy of mine one time. guy rode him right off the track laughing. later that day one of his pro friends returned the favor. someone had to load the kids bike in his truck and drive him home. payback hurts

I don't care who it is, it is always good to hear that a rider isn't above approaching a fan and just talking with them like a human being. What JLaw did for that kid I'm sure created a memory that will stick with him for the rest of his life and in a time when athletes in other sports act as if they are too good to acknowledge us "mortals" it's nice to know that motorcross is still a sport that a family can enjoy either on the track or in the stands.

Just my 2 cents.
