You will be just fine lil man! I never had undescended testicles but I have survived testicular cancer and I know that can be a cause for testicular cancer if not taken care of. Get it taken care of now and don't worry you are one tough mxer you will be just fine.

[quote="alphado":sdcn5q9q]Joey is going in for surgery tomorrow. [/quote:sdcn5q9q]
They do surgery for that? My brother had the same issue and it was dealt with a series of injections (of what I don't know) That was about 40 years or so ago in Europe.
Surgery might be less painful though. I remember my mom being afraid of sticking the needle and just going in little by little. That had to hurt!

It's no fun Joey, but a couple days from now it'll all be in the past and you'll wonder why you were so worried.

You too Dad.

The birth of Joe Hung Low?????

Alph, Joe will be fine with the surgery except a little sore. My experience is being the helpless parent is a lot more stressful.

Why is everybody saying eat lots of ice cream? They are operating on his testicles NOT tonsils...........What am I missing here?

Any excuse a kid can get to ask for ice cream....

Dennis, I'm praying for everything to go well.

Its to prepare his tonsils for the dramatic deep voice he's going to have from now on.

We just got home, he is a little sore, but all went well. He is in the recliner with a bag of frozen corn on his junk. We just gave him some tylenol #3 so he should be out of it soon. He was a little trooper, just cried a little when they took him away. Thanks again for all of the well wishes. It is one big happy family here, always has been.

Good to hear. The recliner's a good idea. When I had hernia surgery the nurse told me that would be more comfortable than a bed and she was right. Tried to go to bed the second night and headed back to the recliner.

Bravo Joey!! Give him lots of fluids Dennis...more than you think he needs. With the codeine in the T3 you don't want him constipated with the incision. Feel free to PM me if you think of a question you don't want to bother his doc with.

Amazing! He could hardly walk when we left the surgery cnter, he was in alot of pain. By dinner time he was walking around with a little limp. By bed time, he looked like nothing even happened, he doesn't even want any pain medicine anymore.

We had him drinking quite a bit, thank for the tip Dr. Mark! He just has a small nick in his sack, the doctor found the balls without any problem. One nut was almost half way torsioned, so she fixed that just in time. We had a pleasant experience with all the medical people involved.
