I think Fro has been doing pretty good. I wouldn't mind a little more insight from a former #1 but he's getting there.

I am wondering how long RC will keep at it? Can't be easy to go from the undisputed GOAT in one sport to a total rookie in another. RC is about as determined as one can get but ...

Mc has clearly realized the NASCAR dream is not for him, and I think he will have a lot more fun sliding his CORR truck around in the dirt. Nowhere near the money but a much closer fit for his skills. I remember watching RJ in the defunct MTEG stadium series and you could tell he was an MXer in the way he made use of little berms and line choices the other drivers didn't seem to see. It's a shame that series went away as I thought it was pretty entertaining. ( The trucks at least. The Ultracross was borderline watchable due to the track limits. )

Anyone know what kind of $$ the top guys make in something like the CORR series?

I think like our sport, the top guys do really well.

I grew up racing John Greaves here in WI and he does pretty well for "a local boy" haha

He could and still does kick ass on two wheels when his sponsors and schedules permit, but he is doing even better on four wheels.

Speed didn't do him any favors on the whole track map thing...that was a timing clusterfuck.

rc was good, he did me a favor and cut shaheen/emig off on one of their bring explanations when someone on the screen was nearly going down and such.

Shaheen needs to go, he's nothing but frustrating. emig is okay sometimes, but he does way too much of the "see what thats going to do is..." and will go off on a 5 minute explanation about how water is forming on the track, or some other thing that has nothing to do with what racing is going on at that moment.

It sounded better with two commentators talking back and forth with each other. Shaheen can just leave or drop his balls or whatever the Shaheenians do.

IMO, Emig has been doing much better speaking as of late. He doesn't get to say a whole lot, but what he does say is usually worth listening to.

Fro is doing a fine job, he just needs to be more assertive with his knowledge. RC is a natural. he talks to the camera, then talks to his fellow commentators like an old pro.
