I'm not spinning a thing, and I'm not going to post private communications to prove what you said. I like you and consider you a friend, but you're kidding yourself and are the only one buying it.[/quote:1n772szp]
Yer busted.
Private conversations are private. Check my writing on it on any site and find a quote you take issue with.
A lawyer should know its what people say on the record that matters, not in conversations. Opinions that are expressed in conversations can change in a day.
I'm waiting for a quote you take issue with....
500guy-I already told you the same thing and I'm not going to answer the same question so many times.
You guys all know the NPG was panicking. The AMA drove them crazy (and you too) for a reason.
Well, one thing is for sure. People got what they wanted. They wanted MX to be more like NASCAR...
Stefan[/quote:175ngiz7]
Why the f**k would you want MX to be more like Nascar?? Nascar is shit boring .

Don't you have someplace of your own to post this drivel?

But if you knew lawyering, which you don't, you would know that when someone makes public statements that say one thing, it opens the door to him being impeached by his own statements to the contrary.
The new vision was "we don't want anything to do with racing," not "put the NPG in its place."

Train wrecks...or burning bridges?
OR BOTH??!!
I of course can't answer for TFS, but imo it is going pretty damn well. A lot of good information can be found there and often before it is found anywhere else.[/quote:16yzyhua]
Yep
Traffic of RT, MT and MD is about the same. Insiders was a bomb and I was busting regis' balls.
MT shows recent traffic differently and is counting the same people over and over. I knew that back in the day but of course didn't tell you. hehe
All the forums are fun but the traffic is too low. We all can make better sites and not worry about each other so much.[/quote:3hz5rvej]
I can't speak for "back in the day" but as of the new version which I helped Hutch get rolling on. Motonews.com accounts traffic accurately. In addition to inline reporting I installed Google Analytics to back it up.
Hutch has done a great job with the site, and he's learning to make it better as he goes. I'm a designer, not a webmaster, so Hutch really bit off a lot in going from just a bulletin board to a full content management system and community. He's had some bumps, and he'll have a few more I'm sure, but he's working hard and I don't want anyone to take away from that with petty shit. Hutch has integrity and his site and stats are accurate.
That is all.
Basically I can only gauge people by my experience with them. I've dealt with a lot of people and had a lot of people go back on what they say, or not pay. Hutch has been consistent in everything I HAVE SEEN. So TFS throwing into question reporting on something I assisted with irks me.
You can only gauge people by what you have seen/heard and take what you've heard with a grain of salt.
Marc
Many times they are the ones that count though...
Hutch is a good dude that I like for sure Merc. This "he said she said he said" is horse shit to me.

TFS is full of it, he tells it like he wants people to think then when it doesn't go like he said he claims thats not what he said or I was just joking.
That bullshit Merc was global reporting at it's best.
Say and print what it is and let the public read it there way and you can have a clear mind that you were not afraid to write the truth....
Maybe he can get the YS office job on the west coast???

Where do I mention tracks?
Could you please elucidate?
You're correct flarider, I did think he wanted all mx tracks to be round and boring.
Blahrider, I know you don't do,or have much else to do with your time, but sit on this forum and attempt to pick up on other members peccadilloes and thereafter pat yourself on the back when you find one,but please, STFU and try not to be an a***ole everyday of your life.

Oh really? So when you posted our private conversations all over Motonews back in the strobegate days - that was ok, but FTE posting yours now isnt?
Thats hypocrisy 101 my brothers.
Pit Row
Hopefully it doesn't get as bad as MikeeeP did. That was pathetic to watch...but watch I did!!!
Plus Teef is from SEC Country..
It's been an intense fall with a lot of people on edge for different reasons, some because they feel put in a vise.
There are no people without flaws, none of us. I really count it a privilege to have gotten to know different people, some of whom don't like each other much now, all of whom I respect. When I choose to post on some issue, I don't speak for anyone but myself and try to be fair about what I say whichever way it cuts, even if someone I respect won't like it.
The two certain things in that is that (1) I'll be wrong sometimes (2) or someone will disagree if its an issue people care about.
None of that has to be personal. It's time to give it a rest from all sides and enjoy mo'cycles while things simmer down.

I'll second that.
