I am staying home . Walking that mountain is dangerous enough during the day.

Looking at the website they seem to have a lot of new stuff going on. So i guess the Timed Qualifing is still going to happen! Did the NPG get the promotional rights? If not what will the new Promoter have to say? I am surprised that AMA will allow this if a new promoter is taking over the series!

Any change that might happen is for 2009 and beyond, I believe......

Damn people are fucking stupid...

All contracts are in place for this year.
Any new contracts, including promoter, will not start until 2009 (or beyond)

This has been explained ad nauseum

Yeah, I get sick of all the ads too. And the damn four-strokes. Don't get me started on the damn four-strokes. Ruined motocross I tell ya....

Good! They'd better have the track prepped so I can ride Sunday morning. <img class= " title="Laughing">

Actually, that's gonna be different, for sure. Cygnus is right. Some of the best viewing is at the very top of the track, and that hill is STEEP to climb. I hope Dave knows what the heck he's doing!

We have 17 races under the lights now. We don't need another one!!!!!
2/26/2008 12:00pm
LOL now lets see it rains way more often at night then during the day, COOL a friggin mud race at night, doing 130ft jumps 30' in the air. hope they have landing lights, riding at night is a huge difference then during the day time.

In Colorado it rains in the afternoon way more than at night.

LOL exactly so instead of the event being almost over it will be in the middle of it.... no matter racing in the dark, with rain is my point, if it don't rain no issue. Another thing racing an "outdoor" at night will have much more lighting problems since the area is bigger.... but i bet they will be racing in the "evening" and if that is true won't be much after dark racing that time of year.

Everything will be just fine, the track will be better it will be cooler and there will be plenty of light so everyone who thinks they need to worry about it can rest easy Dave has things under control.

What's up with the tiers they're putting on the hill next to the kid's track? At least that's what it looked like from the highway. Funny thing is, I was riding right by that area every lap last Saturday, and I didn't bother to look at what was going on.

making some more flat ground for some parking, storage, etc. That whole part of the park is a little too steep to do much with unless it gets some steps put in.

Dude, you gotta remember not everyone reads every thread. It would be very easy for someone to miss that little bit of information...

I'll probably go to see Lakewood just because of this new schedule. The drive back to Texas late Sunday night is a bitch and this way I can get up Sunday morning and have all day to get back home. Even if we fly it works better.

Racing outdoor motocross under the lights is hardly unprecendented...tons of tracks all over the country do it every week. It could be a really good show. I hope it doesn't become a big trend though. Motocross is made for Sunday afternoons.

I dont know why all the Colorado riders are so upset, If you ever raced SRAC in the spring we always ride the second moto in the dark . :D

Now they just need to get a beer vendor (Coors?) to come in.

Last year they had no beer sales there and, at 3:05 pm in Colorado, when the moto's are deep into themselves

and it's 101 degrees and a man's mouth is dangerously dusty-dry, he oughta be able to buy a frickin' beer.

I know I've run this into the ground, but IT REALLY PISSES me off that some of these tracks don't have beer sales.

It's nutty.
