Despite the Atl. track looking very slow and technical it produced some great racing. And its always great to see a young rider get his first big win but to see 2 in one night was awesome. Congrats to Canard and Milsaps!

really? musta been last years track you saw. couple on offs, 2 triples, and a 2 walls. pretty simple.
james designed it to go fast on, not to be technical.

I have said many times the '90 Atlanta SX was one of the very best SX's ever. And it was 25 laps; not this 20 crap they got now a day.

Appreciate the vid....This yr. Atlanta SX was much better as was A2 since being around this gig over 35 yrs., SX is suppose to be tough; take ya outta your rhythm, hanging it out.....

Thanks QOS.

Andy,

I think you may be off on the 25 lap main at Atlanta in 90.

However, the track was much longer in the old stadium because it was a baseball field.

I watched this years race and while it was good to finally see davi get a win, IMO it is not even close to some of the past races in Atlanta.

90 was an awesome race.

89 was memorable as well, featuring Coopers flying W and a great race between Stanton and Johnson with a lot of a contact and smiles afterwards.

Was 92 when Bradshaw came from about dead last to win? That was an awesome ride.

Shortly after that all the "win streak" bullshit started. Huffman was an exception.

It is good to see some racing again in Supercross, but it still is not at the level of the mid 80's/early 90's where there were 7 or 8 guys that could win on any night.

From 1986 to 1992, Ward, Bailey. Stanton, Dubach, Glover, Liechen, Omara, Johnson, Larocco, Kiedrowski, Bradshaw, Larry Ward, Matesivich, and Bayle all had wins. Add in Cooper, who was always right there but never got on the top step in Supercross.

Right now, Reed, Windham, Davi, Vullimen, and Ramsey have had wins.

It is time to speed up the advancement from the lites class.

pay attention almost, didn't you hear that Js did not design this track. CR said that everytime they put a mike in his face
or did you just watch it on tv.

That's the one Queen. <img class= " title="Smile"> thanks I could not remember if it was 90 or 91. One thing I do remember was that all of those lead changes made me forget about how cold it was that night!
