Pretty big deal. Millsaps had a good chance if he didn't go down. Looks like the dominance of Reed this year was just stopped cold in it's track by Windham. This is pretty big news Windham beating Reed but nobody's really talking about it much. I like how a few guys have stepped up and shown they can run just as fast as lap times and beat Reed. However, if James was riding he would be spanking everyone. :D Sorry had to say it, but probably true.

Nate Ramsey was as much at fault for Reed's loss as Windham was.

also...the track didn't do him any favors...very 1 lined...not alot of passing opportunites.

Considering that he designed the track and that it didn't seem to be very challenging for the Pro level guys I'm not surprised. Maybe people aren't shocked because they have always heard about how much talent he has and maybe people feel like he should be doing that every week? Just a thought.

He won on a track that he disigned. He said it himself, "kinda like legal cheating"

Plus, he's scheduled for 2 more, and Milsaps gets 1. Chad wins the rest.

Been a while. It would be nice to see Millsaps, Short, and Ferry all get wins this year, especially Millsaps being the newbie. Millsaps could very well be the next Mcgrath or RC of Supercross.

Millsaps -- Cant keep it on 2 wheels long enough
Short -- Starts close to front but goes backwards
Ferry -- Takes 5-10 laps to get going (after a bad start)
Windham -- Too old and just is riding for a paycheck...........doh!

He designed the track yes.. Does that give him a advantage? NO.. Only if it is a replica of his practice track.. Reed was right behind KW as they came around the first turn.. Ramsey gooned out and screwed reed and others up.. But even so reed was what in 7th after the first lap and something like 6 sec behind.. No reason he couldn't move up quicker.. RC and James would have.. KW flat out handed him his ass.. Dude was on, and when he is on he is as fast as anyone of those guys..

No doubt. He rode with determination, on the gas and hauling ass as he busted through the lappers. It was way cool to see.

This is just a repeat of the '05 season. Just replay that. And the guys who ran 3 - 5, just insert Millsaps, Ferry and Short in their places, wherever you see fit. The only way I see this series being interesting is if Reed has a practice crash and gets hurt.

I'm happy for Windham bagging another win. But, you have to think Reed is the runaway for the rest of the season, although he seems to be turning into a head-case himself!

he did a good job.. after watching practice i thought he'd go top 5.. but man he pulled it together.. and really did well.
Its impressive how those guys can work their way through the lappers.. Thats art right there.

I’ve got to disagree with that. Up until this race Kevin has been way off Chad’s pace, then all of a sudden when they race on a track that Kevin designed (an easy track by Pro standards IMHO) Kevin runs right with Chad in terms of best lap times? I have to admit that Kevin was fast, but the track design played into the big plus that he has had over Chad this year. Starts. With a start on a track like that a guy like Kevin had a much better shot at getting a win.

I’m not trying to take anything away from Kevin, but I’m not surprised that he won. He should be battling it out the rest of the season, but from his interview he didn’t seem to pressed to win again.

P, you are nuts if you think he had an advantage cuz he drew that track out on a paper towel. If you havent ridden it, you havent ridden it. Everyone had equal time on that track, and it was Reed who almost the only one who tripled thru that timing section along the outside.

Reed had a bad start, and Kdub was on his A-game and didnt fade. Thats just how it went down.

Wasnt it 04 that Reed won almost everyone but K-Dub got a few wins?
