I'm snowblowing with scott googles and tear offs

Edited Date/Time 1/26/2012 8:01pm
We got 20" of snow today... I'm sure my neighbors would laugh at me for pulling a tear off everytime I blow the snow into the wind... but I live in a rural area so no neighbors.

This thread has potential. :D

I use an old pair of Scotts with the face mask attached for the occasional sand blasting around the garage.

I used my Spy goggles the other weekend while grinding off old welds from Cygnus's drag blade, so I could prep it for the new weld-up. Oh, I did this, including the welding, after riding in my riding gear.

Are we setting a new fashion standard for the manly-man? Full MX gear to grind and weld. How much more testosterone can ya get?

No snow down here, but in the summer when I am using our weed eater I wear an old pair of fox boots. They work great! You don't get any grass/weed clippings all over your legs, and you can wear shorts and just spray the boots down when your done.

LOL I was all 927, switched last year to K-2 in everything, race bikes, chain saws, weed eaters, hell when the pressure washer runs out I've even been known to pour the good stuff in it.

not sure how much they will laugh if they have to pick up all the tear offs! LOL!

ON this same thought, we have owned a body shop (very small) forever it seems, but i hated buying new sand blast hood shields every time we blasted some old rust bucket. SO drill a couple holes and mount up the smith roll off system to the sand blast hood. Used the same shield for 5 years! Always wanted to design and patient the idea, but didn't like body work that much LOL>

How many tear offs do you usually need on your goggles?

-16 here today and thats actually a warming trend.
Gets so cold that it doesn't snow believe it or not.
When it does, rabbit fur hat, Refridge-a-wear and bunny boots are my attire.
Got a cool set of 'lobster' gloves too! Those things are awesome.
Normally don't wear googles.
Do wear an iPod though!
