7 times if you include the US open.

At the end of the day Reed will be breaking records and taking names, and Stewart will be on the couch watching it happen.

Stewart not racing is due to the injury he sustained in the nationals and its still bothering him now. The guy has his style and sometimes it bites him. I think stewart is top in mx/sx and just luck hasnt been on his side lately , reed works hard and deserves every respect regardless stewie in or not. Now the question is who can step it up to try and atleast keep reed honest the rest of the series? It dont look good.

I think Reed's really put it together this year. It surprises me, 'cause I'm of the mindset that part time SX does a rider more harm than good. But, from what he showed the first two races against Stew, and last night's race, I see no reason to put an asterisk next to this year's championship, if he wins it.

Of course he'll get an asterix. The dude could find a cure for cancer and still get no credit around here.

He only cured cancer because the cure for the common cold wasn't there.

If you chuckle heads are going to give out astrixs then you better give them to every one that deseves them.

89 Jeff Stanton wins the SX after being 52 points down after RJ who was miles faster breaks his wrist. Then wins the 250 nationals becouse the faster rider couldnt start.
91 JMB wins 500 nationals without winning a single race becouse the 2 guys who were clearly faster knocked eachother out.
92 Jeff Emig wins the 125 nationals becouse LaRoccos bike DNFs the last 2 motos.
92 Jeff Stanton win the SX series becouse Bradshaw destroys his knee wadding of the peristyle in practice. After Bradshaw wins a record amount of races for that time.
96 Emig wins 250 nats after Jeremy, who won all the races to that point, hurts his foot and had 18 stiches in it.

Did any of these guys deserve their championships? Hell yea, becouse they were there in the end. The point of a [b:xp6ay3s2]SERIES[/b:xp6ay3s2] is to proove who is the fastest, fitest, and most reliable. Otherwise it would be the SX championship race.
Who ever thinks Reed deserves an astrix has never raced in a series and doesnt know shit about what it takes to compete for more then a trophy at 1 race.

Yes Reed is good at Supercross (#3 in the world), but he goes on vacation when the real racing starts. Motocross is where the men get seperated from the boyz! 8)

Haha that is interesting. I guess he is not a man. I mean after all. He did come off of the "couch" for Budd's Creek and still got third. Man? I think so. A man knows when to admit defeat in which case you have not. You do the math.

I am supposed to admit defeat? <img class= " title="Laughing"> He is a man, (as a matter of fact "the man" right now in SX) just nowhere close to RC and Bubba outdoors. As far as the couch goes, he better hope that RC doesn't decide to get off his just to prove a point! I was being kind giving him #3 because I don't think he has anything for Townley either.
