From the Kawi press release.

“For me it was really difficult because as you could see during the first two races, I wasn’t racing at 100 percent."

I didn't see that, I bet if someone went back and looked at last years races the distance between the top 2 and everyone else was about the same. If Reed said something like that he'd get 20 pagers here.

At A1 he charged from dead last to second, but he wasn't gaining on Reed nearly enough to catch him by the end of the race. So it looked to me as if he was cruising once he got second. If he was hurt, he didn't show it in those first 10 laps.

Just because you didn't see it doesn't mean it isn't true. What's your point? Do you think he's faking? Personally, I don't think he looked like he was at even last years speed in Phoenix. Normally, Chad wouldn't have been so close.

The math probably comes out to be about .11sec when adjusted for distance. Not obvious. Is there no chance that everyone has raised their game.
I don't care if he thinks he wasn't at 100%, it's disrespecting everyone else out there.

If it was so obvious at A-1 and Phoenix that Stuart was off the pace why didn't any body question his speed then? Why wait until after you find out he was injured to tell every body how obvious it was he was up to speed?

LOL! That's just a weird comparism.

Was it also disrespectful for James to go from 19th to 2nd at A1? Was it disrespectful from him to go from last to first at Budd's in '03?...on a 125? I guess RC's two perfect seasons were the ultimate in disrespect.

No matter what happens; if Chad wins the title he'll certainly deserve it. You gotta stay healthy.

Not real sure what you're getting at. I don't remember RC ever saying after a win that "it's obvious I'm riding hurt". I don't care who says it. I have friends and people I work with out there riding, working for, and running teams that were in those mains and it's extremely disrespectful to everyone else involved.

Look, we all have friends, but that doesn't have anything to do with whether James was 100% or not.

I was at the Phoenix race and in my opinion he didn't look like he was 100%, but I could be wrong - maybe he was 110% I don't know. Do you believe he was 100% at Phoenix or do you have a problem with the fact that he said he wasn't?

I don't think I'm the only one that doesn't think James was 100% last week. I also believe that Chad is hungrier, faster and more dialed on the bike.

And I also believe you’d be giving James a hard time if he said nothing.

It doesn't matter who, where, when. Saying “For me it was really difficult because as you could see during the first two races, I wasn’t racing at 100 percent." when you won the race is disrespectful to all of your competitors. Period.

Of course Chad Reed, the supposed whiner, has a broken bone in his hand since practice at A1.

I also posted after A1 that Stew just didn't look the same cause he would've hung it out in typical JS fashion. He didn't at all.
