Some people are stating that the AI is taking you out and all. Well, we did ask for a tougher AI right? I personally love this option. When the online thing gets glitchy, its good to have the AI on the game to be hard as well. I think the people who are complaining about getting taken out by the AI is just pissed they got taken out HAHA.

I PERSONALLY don't care if i get "block passed" by a good AI. But these guys come screaming in at you in every freaking turn, out of control and WFO. in real life, there would be no one left to win a championship.
I agree too with the D pad. I had so much control by using the D on past mx games, but check this. Everyone is complaining about the preload not being precise. Well, what are you using to preload? The joystick right? Maybe when you lean back, you might be actually leaning a small bit to either side which would make the game think you are turning...not leaning back...thus not preloading? Then, to make the bike preload, you spend more time focus on directly leaning back than the racing action. I believe if we could use the D pad, it would know when you hit the down button rather than the "360 degree button" of the joystick. Because I tried the joystick before on MXvsATV Unleashed on PS2 and notice this happen when I try to preload, even when I did not know about it and thought I was leaning back. Anyway, the preload is way too "springy".
The game, overall, is fair. It needs a lot of improvement. Hell, Supercross Circuit is still the best moto game I ever played....and that was 8 years ago!!! Replica National and SX tracks from that year (1999 I believe). A legit career mode at that time. Functional track editor. And back then, they had 4 ways to whip and you were able to scrub obstacles....and this was 1-2 years before Stewart made it realistically possible! I was expecting in 8 years that we would be qualifying for nationals/SXs in a real life career mode from privateer to factory on National/SX tracks with sponsors and all......
Oh wait...bugs of the game.....sorry had to rant there...

And why is there an option to change skin tone of the rider? I never heard of a horsepower increasing skin tone. I can slightly understand changing the hub color, rim color, and graphics because that can make you feel like your going faster...but skin tone? Seriously....why? And I didn't see a James Stewart skin tone!!!!
Also, I have always wanted to play in "goon mode". Regular stunts are converted to bar humping, huge one footers, and butt scrubs. Gear can range from motocross gear (vintage and modern) to Gucci suits and hillbilly wear with options like making your own tears into your jersey and actually using duct tape on anything. Chest protector (bulky and backwards) and helmet (open face and visor altitude) selections, how many buckles on your boot you want loose, and goggle strap positioning and hell, even non moto attire, would be acceptable like a rider dressed as a bowling pin are just some examples I have in mind. Untamed is more of a game about showing off than actual handling and racing action. Goon mode would be a perfect way to capitalize on the showing off part of the game or at least make it a mini game in some way.
That's what is on my mind.....[/quote:1kte17hc]
are you retarded?
game needs stamina so if you don't practice enough ur rider starts riding sloppy
tires and engine should have wear
lol i'm just babbling i love the game don't change a thing ...well maybe the sounds!

But of course, there are always problems. They've been covered pretty well, but my real glaring concerns are:
1. Sound - all the bike sounds are pretty bad, which is funny because they were just fine in Unleashed.
2. Tuff Box/Bales - it is ridiculous to have these things bounce all over the track as if they had no weight to them. This is another thing that was just fine in Unleashed, but has made a change for the worse.
3. Setting up a game online is wonky and a bit difficult. Seems there is no way to create a series? They need to check out the Forza 2 rooms and copy that.
In spite of the flaws, I love the game. Very realistic.

The guys who think our bitching will dictate the creation of another addition are dead wrong, if the sales of this game are a success they will make another one, simple economics, and my guess is we will see several more versions, especially since more kids probably ride "virtually" instead of actually doing it.
Please bring back the D-Pad!!!
I also like the Natonal tracks way better than the other MX vs. ATV. Many line choices.
FIX THE SOUND!!! It's by far the worst thing about this game.

Keep playing motomel, in SX, if you get one of those boosts of low-end torque, I've made it through a few different entire SX straightaways in 2 leaps. Just a flick of the preload if you will....
But the National tracks are good, I agree there.

I think the low end torque jump thing is supposed to be a seat bounce I am not sure though. (being seriouse)
Why didn't you make the game as well for PS2?

It was made by different people
Pit Row
I honestly think it's better than the old version. It's just more difficult and different from Unleashed. I think that's where most people are having problems. The haybale problem isn't nearly as bad now that people are learning the tracks....
As far as BUGS...
I have a hard time finding games sometimes...I know there are people playing and a lot of time times I join friends because I can't find any open sessions.
An exit strategy while the game is loading when you are waiting for a session to start. Many times I will get stuck riding that same track while some selfish idiot is waiting 15 minutes for the game to load. If you could exit without going to dashboard or turning your xbox off would be nice.
An option to turn collision off. You might want to have that effect haybales as well. It's cool to take people out when they are talking shit but most of the time it would be nice to just see who is the fastest.
I would like to be able to race ranked matches and stay in a party and not be forced to leave and find a new session!

Exactly.
Also, it is stupid that when you backflip or do a 360 you can't stop yourself. You just keep spinning until you land which makes it difficult to land them.
Uh, yes you can.

It's called timing. Time it correctly and you'll land it just fine.
Uh, yes you can.

True, but in real life, people can stop backflips.. And you cannot preload the whoops.
Uh, yes you can.

They preload the crap out of those Millville whoops.
Overall I like the game though. I think it's a big improvement over the last one.
-i cant stand when you just rub up next to someone and you flop off your bike like a dolphin.
-you asked for bugs, but havent wrote back to any of these...?
-make it more like motoGP07. that game is sweet. its actually based off the real deal.
-maybe you have to beat the game more and i just dont know how to unlock them, but the bike selection is horible. 250 2 stroke, or 450f in different colors... thats it? no 250f's?
-is it just me, or does the gate drop at the same amount of time everytime?
-the bouncing off of everything effect is retarded. the haybails float around the track like they weigh nothing, but then when you run into one it will totally wipe you out or throw you off the track. wtf.
-get rid of the go carts and monster trucks, open cross garbage. atvs are retarded too, but i guess i could live with them if the game was better.
