AHRMA361 my friend Nick McCabe sent me there and it blew my mind with just pure moto vibes, nothing glamorous or flashy, just soul... Well worth the visit!

There's about 30 "supertickets" left at Hangtown, well worth it full passes and premium parking at Hangtownmx.com then go Lake Tahoe to 395 south for your L.A. experience!

- If you're into crazy old homes, go visit the Hearst Mansion in San Simeon.

- If you're into old motorcycles and motocross history, figure out a way to go see Tom White's collection when you're south.

- If you're into random Americana-meets-motorcycling, go spend a night at Goat Breker's Randsburg town in the desert.

- If you're into great big motorcycle shops, Chaparral is just amazing, but City of San Bernardino has seen better days...

- If you're into American MX scene, check out Pro Circuit and Troy Lee and Fox Racing lobbies, all relatively close to Glen Helen.

- If you want the best place to stay for GH, it's Ontario. For Hangtown, as the guys above said, it's Folsom, and the cool restaurant/bench-racing spot is The Cattleman Restaurant, not ten minutes from the track.

- If you're looking for a free meal, a place for you and your mates to crash, and maybe even get some part-time work doing day-labor and cleaning out the Dumbgeon, go to Vital MX HQ near John Wayne Airport...

- Seriously, the absolute, most unique place for a random visit is The Garage Company near LAX: http://garagecompany.com It's part museum, part hop-up shop, part motorcycle thrift store, and I suggest this place for anyone on this board! Some photos below...

Need anything else, let me know: DC@mxsports.com

Thanks DC, we are into all that stuff and will definitely check out the garage company....it looks fantastic.
It's always been a dream to go to an AMA national so we are very excited.
Thanks for the offer of assistance, will shoot you an email later on
Cheers

Id stay at the Hard Rock in South tahoe or some Log cottage and head to Vegas the back way . SLT is not far from Hangtown.
These guys see coastal shit all the time. Plus Yosemite is a better drive from the east side and closer to Vegas route.

You could make Matthes Jealous if Sammy Hagar is at Tahoe Wabo chilling out.

Or stay at some place on the Calif side. But California has fuck all for fun compared to the Nevada side.
You might run into that Shaun Palmer dude too. Or John Force and all his hot daughters. Or any number of billionaires. Its the place to be. Nothing closes and Theres a reason uber rich people have houses there.

I played in that golf tournament. Paired with Lou Holtz on day one, and Steve Spurrier on days 2. Freaking blast!

The 17th hole is so damn cool. All the boats and bikinis watching you play. Good times.

On most of our trips we stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Rancho Cordova, Sacramento (approximately $60 a night).

I'm hoping to get to Hangtown this year. My buddy and I missed last year because of some medical issues but hopefully we can get back to our tradition.

That sounds like a brilliant idea Evil
Perfect way to end a day at the races!
Most the nightclubs in south Tahoe nevada side have strippers walking in catwalks right above.

Not cheap though to get in. Tahoes nevada side has all the uber rich people living there.
State tax free.

I noticed the 24 hr fitness bro is selling his house for 35 million now that all his kids are grown and gone.

The Force family spends all their holidays there. Winter and summer. Oh to be Rich.
The tommy hilfiger guy was teying to sell his for 100 mill then 75. Not sure if he ever did.
