How many spa covers does it cost you guys to race the outdoors?
I'm hoping Martin hangs his supercross boots up, and gets ready to defend his title outdoors...

The one thing I dont get is Yamaha letting him go after he gave them 2 championships. i get it that Web is fast and has proven he is a force on the 450 but keep them both. I would have put both web and Martin on with Reed to show them the ropes for a year.
Hart is a really smart dude. But the RCH team is not run well and ultimately, that's on him & RC. It's just a toy to those guys.
But on the flip side, you got JGR, which is a very professional/serious outfit both inside & out and how many championships have they won? The same as Pink's moneypit RCH.
Im disappointed to see Martin go to RCH. The kid is so focused and does things the right way. Yamaha shouldve paid his way to JGR. Heck, Honda shoulda went after Martin instead of Roczen.
Dean Wilson hasnt been the same since spending all that time out in Florida with Reed.
Martin is too special a talent to be put in the wrong hands IMO. I really wish he was going to another team than RCH. I dont get what these race parents are thinking letting it happen, but maybe it's out of there control at this point.
Do you think RCH is going to have him doing beer bongs in the rig before each race? He's still going to be the same focused, talented guy, just on a different color bike.
jmart has omara in his corner and i really think that will help him a lot.
And even though there is absolutely no correlation at all, in fact since then, he's ridden there a tiny bit in 14 and has had awful luck with injuries in '12 - '16.
Face it: Theyve had the riders. They got the bikes. There's no reason they shouldnt have won a title by now. It's pretty obvious from the outside looking in what is missing in this equation. And if you hear the stories from the inside, there is no doubt.
There are a few teams that got there shit together. And there are a few that need a total house cleaning.
I got no issue with Chad Reed. But he's a big dog and these young pups have no business out there partying with him trying to keep up. They have a hard enough time surviving little ole Temecula.
Pit Row
(the sport, by it's very exclusivity makes it a shallow talent pool by comparison to most sports)
Now if MX had a deeper talent pool would Dungey still be as dominant? Probably not. But that isnt a indictment of Dungey but rather a slap in the face to the long list of "more naturally talented" riders that he's left in his wake cause of the meat grinder that is the moto-scene.
Dungey is the anti-moto scene. He dont care about being "cool guy". He's just there to win races and do it by any means necessary. If RCH as a org approached things the way Dungey himself does, they'd be able to sign a guy like him or better yet, they'd steal a title with a guy as talented as KRoc.
Here is my rebuttal to your point... Let me ask you this: Would Dungey ever sign to RCH? The answer is a big hell fucking no. Now ask yourself why. It aint the $ or the quality of the bikes.
I know I shouldnt be trashing any private team that is helping the sport by paying to show up. RCH looks the part and in the bigger picture, teams like them and the rest of the private teams are good for the sport to a point. It's not like private teams have the monopoly on being poorly run. Ive seen more than enough circus type shit go on within some factory teams as well, there's just usually less of it. With exception to JGR, I just dont think anyone serious about winning titles should be joining these private teams until they are as serious about winning as the riders themselves. Riding for a factory team comes with it's own strings attached also but there is just a certain level of professionalism that is expected. It's more than just the technology in the bikes or the budgets. The people u surround yourself with are directly responsible for your results.
Guys like JMart & KRoc belong on factory teams. And trust me when I tell u that I hate saying that because I think any motorsport is better when satellite and private teams have the ability to win championships & races.
Deano is a national champ. J-Law won a regional title.
One definitely holds weight.
For example there is no secret I am a Kawasaki and Honda guy (shock, horror!!!) ...but I root for Dungey, Reed and Roczen (well and CS and TC but you get my point ...I hope)
