No more stuck swing arm bolt??

Edited Date/Time 3/22/2016 8:39pm
SteelHorse Innovations, LLC just came out with a prototype of their patent-pending, product called the "Bewlbar" system that internally greases suspension bearings and prevents contaminants from getting in. This should prevent the swing arm bolt from getting stuck and extend the life of swing arm bearings significantly.

Nice,
I always put grease zerks in the swingarm but this looks like it would work well too.

Haha yeah that might work too. Not sure why the link isn't working for you, worked when I tried....

Permatex anti sieze has always worked for me. Or marine grease. I tear my bikes down a lot, so that might be part of it as well.

That does work to keep the bolt from being stuck but the Bewlbar system is primarily for greasing the bearings without tearing the whole bike down.

It really should be. My 2016 YZ250F linkage bearings are already failing and the bike has 14 hours. I took the bike apart at 10 hours and the needles started falling out.

Brand new needle bearings can fall out, no? I'm not sure how you're equating that to failing.

That said, anything that can be done to ease linkage bearing maintenance is a good thing.

Use molybdenum disulfide grease, the stuff they put in CV axles. Lasts much longer than the green waterproof stuff.
