Have you had a chance to ride it yet?
Unfortunately no. Mother Nature has not been in favor of riding since I put everything back together. It's actually snowing here right now.

I have to admit i'm kind of curious about this! I've never paid for a revolve before, but at approx. $200 it's pretty tempting. Maybe in my winter boredom i'll end up sending my forks out for a revolve Smile Any recommendations? I see Enzo mentioned a bunch, Factory Connection, etc.

Picked up a 16 last Saturday. Brought it home and removed the forks and shock and shipped them to Race Tech. My son doesn't like the air forks at all. Gonna install the conversion kit from air to spring plus the revalving. Can't wait to get them back He's been on Hondas since 2009 but made the switch back to Kaw.

Might be a odd question, once you get the spring conversion kit, can any suspension company service them? Or just the company that performed the fork kit?

I would think that anyone could service the forks after it is converted.

Finally got a chance to ride today. Sandy, thick track here locally. Definitely could tell a difference once it got rough and choppy going into the corners. Forks soaked it up well. Had to adjust the rebound on the forks and slow it down just a little.

Still undecided on the benefits on going to 2mm from 5mm on the fork height. Need to ride a couple different type of surfaces to really get a feel for it. Didn't play with any air pressures on the forks. Just need to ride it more to get more comfortable with the set up before making a bunch of changes.

Still feels low in the rear. Front end high feeling.

Awesome, thank you. I'm actually taking mine to FC in the morning. What were you running for pressures before the revalve? I'm at 188/10/218 (225 pounds). I'm wondering if you were that high and the revalve makes the lower inner chamber pressure work.

That's encouraging to see that the valving changes hold it up enough to be able to lower the pressure some.

Had my 14 done by factory connection, it was horrible and a huge waste of money

I had RaceTech rebuild the TAC forks on my '15 and these are the settings they recommend:

190lb rider (without gear)
Damper side 350cc oil
Air side in 100cc / Out 320cc / Tac 10cc
Inner 180psi / Outer 10psi / Bal 190psi

Night and day difference after the rebuild! So much better than stock.
This is from the RaceTech website for a 15 KX450:

Air spring fork - MUST CHECK AIR PRESSURE EVERY TIME THE BIKE IS RIDDEN! CHECK OWNERS MANUAL FOR MAX PRESSURES! Balance pressure = 0-10psi less than inner pressure.0 = Softer 10 = Firmer. Measure oil volume - not oil level.

Top of fork tube, not top of cap.
