Somebody on here had stated that he might be running SX and I had mentioned

he may have trouble obtaining a SX license.

Just talked to his mechanic - Nate has his license now and is IN for

(at least) the first three West Coast rounds in the 250's.

Yamahas.

Pretty cool.

I bet he will get in the show. I am sure he has been riding SX for a few months now trying to get ready. If you can ride you can ride, and theres no doubt he's got the talent on a dirtbike. He just needs to focus that in different areas than when he's at the dew tour.

Prediction: Wins the LCQ and busts out a nothing-superman-no-handed-bar-spin-

inverted- backflip with a varial-Corolla-Cordova twist over the finish line.

To a smattering of applause and a hasty shirt removal by the ONE PUNCH.

Nate was a racer 1st, then became a pro FMX rider.

Props go out to him for putting in the effort to go for SX.

Im not saying that he isnt good on a supercross track, but that is a joke giving him a licience. Shouldn't he have to follow the rules like everyone else? Ive never seen his name in the ama arenacross results or in the top 5 at lorettas? Last I heard, a year or two ago he was a casual intermediate rider.

Come on Rupert.. Even you know Nate is a Factory Yamaha rider. Did you ever think getting a license was going to be an issue? Wink

I still owe you that In n' Out burger by the way.....

It’s called an OEM endorsement. I don’t like it but it’s legal.
12/24/2008 9:54pm
If he qualifies, then no one will question the endorsement.
If he doesn't, no one will care anyway.

My problem with the OEM endorsement has nothing to do with Nate personally but everyone should have to play by the same rules.

The fact that rules don't apply to some is the worse thing about this sport.

250f - four stroker - in the 250 class - the Lites class - the 125 class - the junior class - the rookie class...whatever they are calling it these days...

Not the big boy class....

Maybe we should go for "REGULAR" and "DIET", or "LARGE" and "SMALL". the class structure nomenclature -It's still too confusing, even at the amateur level.

it's going to be cool seeing Nate Adams race a few SX and hopefully gain some support from the racing crowd. Can he make it to the Mains, I don't know, the 250F classes are usually stacked. But why not, wasn't he a racer before he became a FMX specialist?

Nate isn't a bad rider at all. I could see him qualifying, and making a main by the end of the series. Good things happen to good people, remember that?
