Yep, it's the Safeway pumps in Cle Elum. My wife's a shopping samurai so she figures out what to buy where and gets a lot of 2X-4X gas point stuff. As I was leaving to head over to eastern WA this morning, she told me to get my gas at Safeway because we had an 80 cents discount, and they give you another 10 cents for using cash or debit so it ended up at 93.9 cents!

Cle Elum didn't used to be that cheap of a town for gas but now it seems like it's always the cheapest place on that route. Even the local stations are pretty close to the Safeway pricing.

1.679 today at the local getgo. I don't even bitch about the total after filling up anymore. I kinda jump and click my heels.

I'm trying to figure out why "PLUS" is 51¢ more than regular.

It's generally a dime between octane levels around here.

$1.55 for regular and 1.89 for diesel here in my neck of the woods. That is straight pay at the pump price. I know nothing of discounts you speak of.

Californian's are paying almost 50% tax for gasoline. Almost 70 cents in state and federal taxes PLUS the new (Jan 2015) carbon tax that is estimated to be near 50 cents a gallon. BRINGING AN ESTIMATED $3 MILLON DOLLARS A DAY TO SACRAMENTO, nearly a billion per year. This tax is added to the wholesale price by refiners and is not publicly disclosed. A harsh tax on all Californian's in the name of greenhouse gases and the high speed fail train. This money will do nothing to offset greenhouse gas emissions. It will be pissed away on the Brown stain train and sent to state coffers to help fill the ever widening shortfall of the state pension fund.

Last year Governor Brown passed the budget and told us it was a balanced budget. Except that they forgot costs of providing health care to illegals and I guess they did not include road repair funds in the big budget. So they think they need more taxes.

This is California, so it is going to get worse. On June 15, Gov. Brown announced he would sign the 2015-16 state budget. He said it was balanced and even had a surplus. One day later he announced two special sessions of the legislature. It seems he “forgot” to include money for free health care of 170,000 illegal aliens and money to fix our roads. Currently, in special session, the Democrat controlled legislature is considering how to fill a $5.7 billion budget gap.

Yup, a couple gas stations in Houghton Lake, Michigan (northern lower pennisula) had a price battle over the weekend. The lowest anyone saw was $0.47/gal. Almost worth making the drive up there to fill up lol

The only reason I can think it got that low is that we haven't had enough snow yet for people to go snowmobiling, so they probably had a stockpile that was just sitting around. Sledding is big business up there, so it always hurts the small towns when we don't get any snow...

Correction; $16 million dollars a day, $6 billion per year.

You guys ever use the, "Gas Buddy" app? Gives you prices where ever you are. I use it on road trips and sometimes gas at the next exit is $1 per gallon less.
