just got my stuff back from him for my 16 ktm 450sxf, testing it friday. Smart guy. What most consider a true suspension tech.

Amazing at what he does

If you have the chance I suggest driving there and picking it up yourself. He will actually tell you what he did and explain it out so that you understand it. For some mechanically illiterate its cool for someone to break it down into terms that are understandable.

He is a wealth of knowledge and a just a genuinely good dude.

i take it, you are very pleased with his work?

i think my decision is going to be between mb1 and graeme from most of the posts i have read.. sounds like factory connection, race tech and rg3 are all hit and miss depending on the tech or data.. i dont know this, and have no knowledge of suspension.. back in the day was a B rider on stock suspension.. never had revalved suspension before..

he hasn't billed me yet, so idk. He has done my Honda's too. He is reasonable. He also doesn't try to sell you stuff for the sake of selling something. He has told me stories of sitting in a board room in Japan with the big bosses discussing settings for the new models. He would work his ass off in r&d to set up the new bikes only to have the big cheese overturn his suggestions because an extra shim or too cost more! crap like that

That shit has been going on for years. Early 2000 YZ 46mm's had a bunch of .10 thickness shims with a few .15 to hold up the high speed. Were still too harsh IMO, but then in 2002 went to all .15, requiring roughly half the total number of shims. End result was suspension that was even more harsh and a bagging in the shootouts. 03 came out with a heap more .10 than before, but still not right.

I will 2nd you on that! I had my 2014 YZ450 (current bike) done by him and it is exactly what I asked for, set for a int/pro but still be plush. Yes you have to ride it hard to work good but that is what it is valved for. The two tracks I mostly ride are Piru and Zaca, and an arena cross style track. Only need a few clicks in or out depending on track. I have had a few fast guys also ride my bike and they were surprised how plush it was. Graeme will spend the time talking to you explaining things, has a bunch of knowledge, and cares how your bike works even after he's paid! His price was fair, turn around time quick, good communication, and my bike handles very good.

I honestly couldn't be happier with his work.

The thing I enjoy about working with him is he is able to understand what you want even if you can't explain it properly.

For example, I am an idiot when it comes to explaining what I want. I finally just said "I am a sand bagging novice rider who can go pretty good for 5 laps before dropping anchor"

He just laughed and told me he understood.

Suspension was absolutely perfect.

Give him a shot, and you will be sold

All my revalves have been $400 + or - a few bucks...no springs needed, except pressure springs maybe. If your local to him that should seal the deal imo. ...
