When do the 2016 bell moto 9 helmets get released. Most 2016 MX gear is released but wondering when the new bell will come.

I just received a Moto 9 Carbon Flex this week. I haven't had a chance to ride in it, but it fits well and feels pretty lightweight. That's compared to my 6D. I'm looking forward to riding in it. But we need to get through winter and it has to come back from Hellion Designs after getting a unique look!

Racer replica helmets don't usually sell if they're themed in my experience. By themed I mean the Monster Arai looked cool, but nobody ever bought it. Actually it was stolen from the shop I work for. Shoei did well with the Windham helmets, but that was merely a design with his name attributed to it.

So no, I don't really think they sell. At least not to guys who are enthusiasts about the sport.

I don't deal with the marketing. I'm just sharing what experience has been working in a shop. That along with what I've seen, makes me think the Monster or Pro-Circuit helmets don't sell that great.

That being said, someone gets paid to understand the market and what's profitable and they manufacture and market these helmets. So it's quite possible I'm wrong. My experience represents a small segment of the market as a whole.

I have to confess I really do like how my Flex fits. Hopefully it feels as good when I can actually ride in it. So far, my initial feeling is that I'm not disappointed in my investment.

I'm sure they are i tried the carbon Moto 9 on my head and it fitted way better than my Shoei and Fox v4 helmets, the problem is that Bell helmets are really bad represented in Europe. Same thing can be said about FLY racing. It took 1 year for the original Moto 9 to become available in Europe. The only Moto 9 model that is available in Finland is the normal carbon one. I think dirtbikebitz in UK have the Flex models but buying stuff from UK is not an option at the moment since it would be way to expensive because of the exchange rates...
