Did anyone else read the new TWMX and feel that the stock market must have cause swap and crew to hit a 6 pack of Moto Brew or two? I seriously just picked it up and couldnt make it past the CR22 spotlight..

TWMX has become a absolute worthless magazine. The product test are pointless and totally uniforming. TWMX never really has anything critical to say about the stuff they test. Therefore, the impression I get is Swap and his crew are more concerned about getting free swag and being moto cool.
Also did you see the latest issue with the 2009 450MX shootout?I realize opinions are subjective but how could TWMX rave about the new Honda? Especially about how great the suspension is! I know no one who likes the suspension on the Honda.

It's the "Maxim of Motocross."

It can be entertaining when they keep their in-jokes to a minimum. The photography and art direction are several tiers above the rest. But the product reviews are definitely just fluff (as in they act like "fluffers" to the industry).

Between the Monster Girls, the Rockstar Girls, the Red Bull Girls, the Muscle Milk Girls, the Jager Girls, the 30 second girls, and the pit tootsie's this sport is crawling with porn bimbos. It obviously works to sell product.

TWMX has turned into a joke as far as bike tests and product reviews. Never a bad word or genuine criticism about anything? Oh really. Everything out there is perfect?

I guess when I wrote that last night, it was more aimed to the fact that the interviews are the same all the time, Chad Reeds Interview was terrible, I like him, but that was, well, not good. And whats up with the heads up interview to see whos smarter? Come on, I read those questions and can not believe these kids/people do not know the answers. The shoot out was lame, not really much info there. And as much as I have to support the Honda (due to my Honda dealer employment), how about an explanation as to why one of the guys went almost 3 seconds faster on the KTM but praised the Honda?

And what happened to the prank calling? That was awesome..

TWMX used to get me though 3 or 4 daily sitdowns now its down to 1 or 2. Maybe my diet is getting better.

I've never been a fan of TWMX. Way lame!!! They have WAY to much advertising with very little content with any real meaning or purpose other then to just fill the magazine up. RacerX is so much more a core MX mag, and they seem to actually be in it for the right reasons....there love for MX and the roots of the sport which they know VERY well, not just to play the part and look cool and to get free swag!!! Plus I can read Racer X all day and still not read every little bit of content...and I can even pick it up and read the articles a second time cause there that good. TWMX takes about 30-45 min front to back to read, and that includes looking over the AD's which count for prolly %70 of the entire mag!!!

I like TWMX and MXA. It is entertainment . Racer X is a gossip rag. All have nice pictures. So whats the problem they are not like you are reading for P-chem or something.

Whats with all the Syracuse people ? Say hi to Professor Armstrong in the Archaeology department for me, and his wife Joan the Dentist also. Har, would be funny if you 2 know them.

I successfully caught a mullet at the supercross in Frisco, and was hoping to have it published in TWMX.Then come to find out they had to stop do to some legal reasons or something like that.

No dude don't know Professor Armstrong cause the only degree I got is a Bachelors in Motocross...I hear you about how it is still a MX mag and not a essay on the adavances of modern medicine or some shit but I feel cheated evertime I but that mag

As far as us Syracuse people...It must be a combination of the 6 month long sub-zero winters, almost non exisitint sunny days, ridiculous state taxes, high gas prices, and many other shit traits of NY state that make us all so miserable and critical hahaha

You are 100% correct. If Swap does not get it for free then its shit. Swap and his product tests are a joke. RacerX falls into the same mold as TWMX If you switch the covers you wouldn't know the difference between the two. The only core Mag out there is MXA.

I also see in Reeds interview that he has not turned the page on his bogging issues. Funny but they did not mention anything about that in the 450 shootout. I know his bike is completely different but that alleged problem should of been addressed by his mechanics. Sounded like he was throwing his old employer unde the bus. Weren't they {yammi] the only bike mfg willing to take a chance on him in the big bike class a few years ago ? Way to go, bite the hand that fed you when no one else would. After reading that I hope he gets his ass handed to him in the upcomming season... syracuse people wait it will only get better as they are now going to add luxury taxes for soda,haircuts,fishing for salmon,driver license's, cows methane gas and a few other things that I don't want to remember, because they will tax me for that also.

Got stuck once in Schenectady. What a piece of shit place. Depressed is not the word for it. Upstate is beautiful but a cross between a trailer park and a Carny convention. My son went to Northwoods for a couple of years and we went there often. Liked it and didn't at the same time. Lot of drinking in the winter.

THEY ARE GOING TO DOUBLE THE PRICE OF BEER HERE!! What kind of shit is that? I would take our prostitute friendly ex-gov any day than have to dig through my change in the couch to buy a soda, and wait till payday to afford a 6-pack.

Best State = NC : ) 3% tax, rented my entire house with 1 acre land for $450, Waffle House and Sonic, Lived 5 minutes from the Bad Boy compound with several tracks within spitting distance... AAAAAHHHH, thats the life..

But also, in our current defense, if anyone has driven rt 20 on the way to Unadilla on a weekend morning around 6-7 am will experience some of the most beautiful sights our state has to offer.. Not to mention the anxious sweeper that awaits till the trees clear and the hills of 'Dilla are magically there..
