As far as I know, RC wasn't keen on the bike they found him, I guess. But I don't have any inside info as to if that's true or not.

Unfortunately no. I can watch all the on demand stuff (which I couldn't before I installed the Hola app) but "live" has an error and says I'm not connected to the internet. Its 11pm so I guess I'll wait for YouTube vids.

Star head-to-head (Reed vs. Carmichael):
With Ricky Carmichael on the inside this time, he exited the first turn in front and withstood the immense pressure of Chad Reed over two and a half laps. But Reed blitzed by through the whoops on the final lap. An attempt by RC to counter in the final turn was close, however Reed got the run and lit the candles – the duo once again receiving loud applause by the appreciative crowd on hand.
