Anyone made their own or bought a really good one? I bought a snowblower last year and it barely snowed enough to use is last winter, was hoping for the same luck with this. Whistling

We call them garages. Seriously though ,our cars never go in the garage , the best thing i have learned over the years is to keep your wipers pulled away from the windshield, like when you are changing them and they fold out. Use the rain X that you spray on the windshield and buff with a rag. Those 2 things will help a bunch with snow removal .

You can always hope that Karma will come back to haunt him, large. As in, slips on a patch of ice, hidden under a dusting of dry powder, goes straight horizontal, does the mid air 1 second "hover", and comes crashing to earth. During said "hover", he pictures that snowblower, and then WHOOOOF!

What's that white cold flaky stuff all over the place up north? It was a feels like temp of 92° here yesterday. Hot as hell at the track. I think I lost ten pounds in sweat. So strange that people are in freezing conditions. I think I own a pair of pants, just not sure because I have not needed them in years. Flops and board shorts year around here. I remember one winter we had literally 4 days of cold. Seriously though I hope you guys have a safe winter.

Get a snow broom scraper deal. What 5 -10 bucks for a telescoping one?
11/22/2015 11:27am
I take the cheap way out. Just throw a small plastic tarp over the cab of the truck or roof of the car and pull it off after the snowfall. Instant clean vehicle underneath. If it's windy I hang a couple of soda bottles filled with water (or ice) to the eyelets to keep it from blowing away.

I just take my sunshade from the inside and put it on the outside of the windshield. The straps are long enough to close in the door to keep it in place. Windshield is clear when I pull it off

I live in an lake efect snow area. Can't get much further north than me in Ohio. We go to sleep with nothing on the ground and wake up with 1-3 FEET, a few times a year. We get alot of snow.

1st: Buy an AWD Subaru.

2nd: I use this stuff:

3rd:
Preset the car to defrost hi heat + seat warmers + the windshield wiper de icers (Only subarus have them I think and after you have them you really dont know how you lived so long without them).

4th: wake up, dont cuss and scream. Make yourself some coffee, and smack the keyless start.

5th
get ready for work in the usual fashion.

6th

Grab your snow brush (IT BETTER NOT BE IN YOUR CAR) Because when you open your door it creates a nice snow vaccuum and sucks in snow to make your ass wet once it instantly melts on your heated seats. Lesson learned one time, wont ever happen again.

7th:
Walk outside, take the carpet off my windshield. (Like an industrial carpet from Sams Club) Fold my wipers back down on the glass. Wipe drivers side door down completely and all areas that allow you to see freely. Give her a few de icer sprays and you're off An extra 5 minutes to your morning.

And please dont be this asshole: God I hate these people!

And I also hate these idiots! They just blind you down the freeway.

But really I guess a regular tarp will do nicely, i use a carpet so it doesnt blow away. Sorry for the repeat posts, this wasn't showing up for some reason, and then finally it did. Internet fail for me today, well most like everyday.

I usually clean the cars off with a push broom while the snowblower warms up. We have a good 3 month stretch where uou basically have to clean your windows off everytime you wanna drive somewhere. I can't stand them fuckers that don't clean their side or back windows off and just see out of the spot the wipers clean off.

Bro's all so damn helpful. Nice...

Specially like the torch idea buuuuuuut ... I leave the crib at 1am so I doubt the neighbors would enjoy the "Roast-a-Fari mobile" approach.

Peely I did get a reply from Meg say'n if I could rub her shoulders twice a week and have a candle light dinner every so often she'd be happy to "warm my engine" for me....

I do believe that's code for somethin else....

Holy shit it's 38 out and a RD250 just went by, FAR OUT !!

1. Buy a real vehicle.
2. They get more snow than that in California.

How about the jackoffs who are too lazy to check and clean their tail lights, and drive like complete assholes? Fits in nicely with the windows they can't see out of. Guess if they can't see you, they don't have to worry about cutting you off with no warning. Just want to choke them.

Pfft like you would know anything about driving in shitty conditions and snow.... Oh that Rain-X is good shit but it fucks with the sensors in my Dodge washer system to make it say it was empty all the time. I had to drain it and run boiling water through it several times to clear the sensor. Guess I don't have to worry about the snow stuff this year.

Just the original rain X in the spray bottle works good , keeps ice from sticking to the windshield. Speaking of that ,did any of you guys "ice" a fellow co-workers windshield? On those single digit days ,i took a spray bottle to a guys windshield ,then a hand full of snow , repeat the process throughout the day, shit is on there like a piece of iron.

Not just Dodges.
What I did this last summer was when it was low for real I dumped in a few bottles of 91% Isopropyl alcohol and distilled. Figured that would clean sensor. So far so good.

Youd think all the methanol in this shit would auto clean sensor.

I do know if you cut the Rain X with the cheaper -20 shit it wont happen either.
All that is is water with methanol and color added to make it Blue.

I think the polymers and shit in rain x is what confuses sensor. Or it coats sensor and throws it off. Pure Rain X is a bit overkill anyway.
I always use it 50/50 wuth the -20 cheap Blue junk.
11/26/2015 12:50pm
Maybe it's the dodge.

I use that rain x in my 275,000 mile Lexus ES 300 and the only time a dashboard light comes on is when the washer fluid is empty.
