There is video of a 2 stroke diesel land speed truck out there somewhere.

They were common in tug boats which is where they got it.

It was huge displacement V something,seems like it was 12 cylinder. They put 4 turbos feeding 2 671 blowers.

Left a black soot trail across the salt lake.

I don't remember where i saw it,the engine was behind the cab and about as big as a small truck..

My recollection is it went close to 300 mph.

Man would have ta drink several beers to get the idea to run a 2 str diesel tugboat engine with quad turbo and twin blowers.
