Here is something you don't see in American MX.....post race sound testing. This is after the second moto. DeDycker was one of the racers tested after first moto

Ummmmm. Great thread, but this is wrong. America has random sound testing as well as random tear downs .

Thank you!

On the sound subject SX has some post race sound testing but with the disclaimer that I have been wrong before I am unaware of any National competitors being tested post moto.

NOTE: Please don't twist this around that I'm bashing the nationals because I'm not. I'm just pointing out the differences in the way we do things and the way they do things. Nothing more.

Probably totally wrong here but I seem to remember that if you crash and lose a silencer in GP you are DQ'd....in AMA no problem. Someone correct me.

Not hip to Frenchie....does AMUSE mean "relax" or "have fun"?

Good memory plowboy. You don't get DQd for the day you just lose points for that Moto. I believe that happened to Everts when he was on Yamaha back in the early 2000s.

It means have fun

And with that I'm out. I have had only 16 or 17 hours of sleep over 4 nights and this was after only getting an hour of sleep on the plane over.

You know it's true; it's tough to keep up with the big kids! :-)

I'm not and I really enjoy the post. I'm just letting you know they do random post race sound testing at the nationals as well.
Hell, I was there the year they sound tested and tore down ALL of Pro Circuits bikes. This year I also know they had random testing.

I'm not sure if you're DQ'd for the moto or get docked positions but it's one of those two.

Went downstairs at the hotel for shaving cream and ran into this great group of Scots that were at Ernee today! Thought I was going to get my first more than five hour sleep tonight but I'll trade sleep for talking Moto with Scots any day the week

One of the topics of conversation was the number of people that had been killed recently in England and Scotland in jump related deaths. 2 riders in each of these countries within the last month. We are so lucky we didn't lose Max Anstie on Sunday

300 euros for electric pit bike

The breeze at this year's MXdN could have recharge these things so much electricity in the air.

JGR motor man Dean Baker and the Honda of Troy race teams first employee was working his tail off. Dean was eating dinner while working on Barica's bike. Color me impressed with Dean's work ethic.

edit Sorry for the scalp shot I will edit that out later but I have to leave the airport now

Now there's a familiar face in pic #1. Jonathon Beasley (track owner of Budds Creek)! Hopefully talking to someone trying to get another Des Nations held at Budds at some point...wishful thinking.

Really? Never seen that before. Everyone I ever see not in the top 3 just pins It back to their motor home or rig.
