I did the math and I come up with $3735 plus $1265 in shipping to come out to $5000 in extras. And we all know that shipping doesn't count towards the cost.

So calling someone a "dumb ass" and telling them to "do the math" when you're way off base doesn't serve you well.

Not defending the sofa but the guy called him out first. I guess you could argue the $5k. But 4K isn't far off when just guessing and with shipping and possibly labor (if he isn't doing it himself) and yes I know we don't count shipping and labor but maybe he doesn't know that. Does it come with a spray tank? How do you spray your pasture with that thing?

What about a gun rack and and a platform to tie a deer to? Do you drape the deer across your shoulders?

Haha you guys are to funny lol! When I said 5k in parts in my head was thinking it's pretty close to that but i didn't know you guys don't count shipping and labor so that was good to know!

I wasn't going to say anything but when the dumb ass comment came out and an "add it up," I couldn't help myself. Plus we all know that aftermarket parts don't usually add much value.

And the leg is progressing well finally after they did the manipulation. I'm at about 120 degrees right now, so ten more to go and I'll be what they consider "fully functional." Next obstacle is getting my ankle to loosen up and I'm good to go! Lost my crutches a couple of weeks ago and went on a cane. Now I keep the cane close in case I need it, but I haven't really needed to which is good. It's usually the first few steps that hurt the ankle. If I keep moving I'm good! By the end of the day though it gets tender. All in all I'm improving. My PT and doc are thinking light duty in the middle of October. And my PT (have to talk to my doctor still) is thinking full duty around Thanksgiving. It can't come soon enough. Sad to have missed summer, but at least I'm on the mend and on the downside finally.

True that on adding the value with aftermarket parts=little extra value.

That's about the same way my ankle is. By the end of the day I'm really sore but I been back full time for a couple months now. I had to quit my main job and take a job with less walking. But hey, I'm just glad to be back with the upright people. 3.5 months in a recliner suck ass bad!! lol Glad you're doing well..

Add in labor. $75/hr.

Give this dude a break. He's got a nice quad.

If I was you, Id strip all the nice stuff off. Ask the same amount and sell the aftermarket parts on ebay. It'll pay off better that way.

That way it'll market to yoyos and look showroom new. I hate idiots that think "race" machines are junk because it's been "raced."

So if he paid $75/hr labor to bolt all of that shit on, his selling price should reflect it?

He can't strip all the nice stuff off and make a profit on it if he pays $75/hr labor to have it done for him.
