I think there is a bit more expectancy from the brits this year, we normally expect to finish 4th with a hope of a podium but (for me at least) I think we are genuine contenders this year. Both max and shaun have won multiple gps this year, and we all know what deano is capable of! we would stand a better chance if it was in the sand- with the race being on a hardpack circuit, in france, then it is a REALLY tall order that anyone can beat the hosts!!!

So long as Webb can keep his shit in a pile
Last year Dungey Tomac and Martin was an awesome team, there's no way the team this year is equally strong.
With the same team this year, they would probably be the heavy favourites.
"GB could do it with 5 finishes around the top 5 mark which isn't as funny as you suggest, this is the MXdN afterall
Pourcel's tyre in 2011 burst their bubble and put them from possible victors to the worst runners up recently at 39 points
To win recent MXDN you had to beat 2nd place finishers of the following :
2011 France 39 points
2012 Belgium 29
2013 USA 30
2014 Belgium 27"
There are plenty of riders out that could make a top 5 this year, and plenty that are not on form
Lol a guy can dream right!
I would LOVE to see it come down to the last seconds of the last Moto...
From there, may the best riders win.
( as is his description of himself as an 'Ideas man'!!!!! )

My only wish for the event is to hear a Frenchman on the podium say in broken English:
"I guezz sè Americàns don't want none". It doesn't matter who gets the overall, I just want to see one of them beat Webb and say that.
2nd, Britain.
3rd, Switzerland.
4th, USA
5th, Australia.
My call, tell em you heard it here first ;-)
"The FIM was been running a 23-and-under age rule in the MX2 (250F) class for a while now in the GPs, and that rule was around in the MXoN, too—until this year, when the MX2 class will open back up to riders of any age. But only in the MXoN, as the rule stays in place for the GPs."
Looks pretty fair to me.
