KTM's hard to whip for anyone?

You're not alone. When I went back to Honda I noticed that it was easier to whip/scrub on high speed stuff. To me the KTM's have always felt more squatted and long from wheel to wheel. It's a unique feel that corners great when you get used to it. But I like the more upright and compact feel of the Japanese bikes at high speed and straight line jumping situations. Although I think the factory edition/16's feel more like Jap bikes than ever so I think they reduce a lot of that difference, AND they corner better than the older KTM's.

As far as the whipping I couldn't tell you but got a chance to ride a brand new 2013 250sx 2 stroke back to back with my (at the time) 06 RM250 and I will say you hit it spot on with declscribing the "different" feel of the ktm's it was something I couldn't really put unto words but you nailed it!!
