I own a 2006 yz250f I just bought it about a month ago and I've raced it about 2-3 times and on the 3rd race I crashed bad on a triple I rode the bike bike to the truck and it was just fine. The next day I went in the woods for like 20min then I stop and talk to someone and go to leave and it won't shift so we take off the clutch cover and find a clutch friction plate shaderd in about 10 pieces and it was in the way of the shifter . What would cause my clutch plate to shader?

Old age... Previous owner probably never changed it. It was probably the stock clutch and was way over due. Or they did change it and there was a faulty part.
