If you're in the New England / NY / NJ area and looking for a great place to come race with the family you should come out and spend the weekend with us.

Nice old school style track, deep loamy dirt and ruts for days. Plus we have all kinds of fun stuff going on off track for the whole family.

Missing it this year Sad . But I'll be at mx207 vurb. I feel like this event lost its luster though. Use to me much bigger with factory decal works rig and Dunlop and interviews. Now it's just a hyped up everyday event with sponsors not on site.:/ hopefully this year is better.

I race just about every weekend with my local organization and if they have one of these big races incorporated into the schedule, I'll do it if I'm in the points. Otherwise, if they are a one off event, I skip them. They are fun to do the first time for all the fan fare and hoopla but after that, it's more of a PITA than anything else. Pits are over crowded, schedule is long and it's usually significantly more expensive than a typical race weekend with the same track time as any other "normal" race day. I just don't see the value in it. Of course, I'm a crusty 40 year old vet rider. These events aren't really aimed at me so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

I loved racing this event. Not a fan of the waste of Saturday though.

Bummer you can't make it man....

Yeah the first 3-4 years was ridiculous and awesome but that was also when the industry was at it's peak and we had qualifiers for a 40 rider gate in the 65cc class on a regular race day....lol.

We scaled it back from trying to be a huge "national" type deal to being a different format from the usual 3 moto thing and a lot more family stuff as well.

I tell people all the time that what happens on the track for the rider is not the only reason people are there.
The whole family is around and we will have great racing but also a pretty cool pump bike track, kids camp for the little ones, free ice cream social, inflatable water slide, live music, fireworks....etc.

It's more for the folks here in New England that just wanna have a little something extra on Labor Day.
Smile

I'd love to see it be big and crazy again too though....
Cool

Yeah man, I was on the fence about this too.
Idea was to give the folks who can't take Friday off a chance to not have to run a round and kill themselves to get here on Friday night.

Plus now we can have some fun event stuff pit bike races and practice for those who want to.
We will see if it makes folks happy....if not we will change it up again!
