Savatgy seems hungry but it's a tall order to get up there with the Mar*ins outdoors. He's made some awesome progress. I like guys that are that hungry. But 3rd place in a National championship is nothing to be ashamed of.

-Did he tell Mathiss that hes getting surgery on Monday(today) then decline to say what for?
-4 races back did he allude to some changes he made to his program in a post race georgia albertson interview only to not say what those changes were when asked?

Well you can act like this if you feel like you belong in first but have struggled to 3rd.
Hr wasn't better than 3rd though. And lucky that Webb, ac and Tonus have been out.

I hope Savatgy isnt being made to feel like he has to put on a "display of determination" to keep Mitch from hen pecking him.

Some times I get the feeling his guys feel the need to talk about wanting to win as if it is a message to Mitch that they heard what he had to say when he chewed their ass for sub standard PC results.

I think it was more of a matter of him just not being there. Only the 3 JGR guys and Dungey were there for the 450 top 10 awards.

Can someone point me to where Savatgy says he's no longer accepting 3rd place? I see where Bowers said it, but when did Joey say it? I think he had a great season, and depending on what he does in Supercross, he should be able to carry that success into the Outdoors next year.
