Teams have to be finalized by the day of the race. But they have to register a team a head of that, but they can switch a rider by the day of the race.

Yeah, I know. I never suggested he could or would race. Please read my other posts in this thread before jumping to conclusions on what I meant.

In a perfect injury free world is the only way we could send our "A" team. Which would be Tomac, Dungey, and Villopoto. They are our best 3 riders. We are fortunate to have about 5 other options that can go over and still podium. I don't believe any other country can say that.

I like canard, but, it's not guaranteed he will finish the last few races without getting injured again given his past history. I'd rather Webb start getting prepared to race the 450 now, wouldn't surprise me if he wins.

Thankfully the rumors that RV is training for Glen Helen & MXDN , JS7 will ride MXDN on a 125 & Dungey goes at it for a 7th consecutive year making for the Stewart, Villopoto, Dungey dream team have not picked up, only a couple of mentions here (let's face it, wouldn't be the same dream team as in their prime and only continue to diminish the USA's reputation if lost a 4th consecutive MXDN).

Really? I heard it was RV on the 125, Dungey 450, JS on that Fasthouse 500.

BTW how was Pala?
You do not think Trey will be up to speed by the MXDN? Additionally, if Decoster called Stew and asked him to be on the MXDN, I would be money Stew would be at the every MX National he's eligible to race.

Webb on a 450F will either be brilliant or disaster.

Here are "A" 450F Riders:

- Dungey (S: technique, consistent, fast W: not going, lost a few years in row, not as fast as the others at times)
- Canard (S: pure speed, aggression, desire; W: injured prone, crashes)
- Barcia (S: wide open, aggressive, starts; W: technique, 3/5 riders on list are faster when healthy)
- Stew (S: at any given time fastest rider on the planet, balls out, brilliant, creative; W: ineligible, crash)
- Tomac (S: raw speed, technique, fitness W: INJURED)
- RV (S: Desire, Raw Speed, aggression W: RETIRED)

Here "A" 250F Riders

- Jmart (S: when on untouchable; fitness W: passing when in pack, starts are not consistent)
- Webb (S: great starter; very fast; W: Fitness)

ADDED NOTE: ALL of these riders are beasts and can win on any given day. These riders will bring it if picked for the MXDN

Really man. If RV had never gotten injured this year you honestly don't think he'd be going to the MXDN? I'd hate to have the motocross intelligence of you.

Good post and couldn't agree more. I may add Osborne to the A group though. He's been really good the last couple of weeks and has the GP experience to add. He could definitely go to the MXDN on a 250 and take top 3. Which is exactly what we need to win the overall.

Yes... But Barcia is on the team. Dungey is sitting out. They need a MX3/1 rider. I'd pick Canard–who's been there and done it won it, and smoked everyone the last 4 or 5 nationals last year, over Webb who's only raced the 450 once at monster cup.
That was last year.

So let's wait and see what he does at the last few nationals before saying he would be a better pick.

Ive said it before, but I am so glad The Rock is not in any position to make any decisions on motocross.
No doubt you're as pumped as I am over the upper body protection rule in MXGP next year yeah.

I agree with your logic but the team will be announced next weekend. I feel guilty picking Baggett over Canard but shoot Trey's been through so much. I'd prefer for Trey to stay home and get ready to take that MEC million dollars.........he almost won it last year but you couldn't tell it by his face on the podium.

Man I love that guy.

They're gonna be really really really hard to beat.

GP21 always goes nuts at MXdN. Musquinn has gotta be at least top 3 and you'd have to assume Febvre is at least that if not a winner.

People are actually suggesting RV on the des nations? Looks like he gained 10 pounds already... Want to watch
Stewie race outdoors? Maybe rent a plane and fly over his back yard or get your tickets to that "goofy" jump
Red Bull Drag Race... Maybe it's cancelled, I read where some of our younger members said it was "sick". I hope it
feels better...
How about picking 3 riders who are 1st Tier Riders...

The 1st tier riders in the 450 are Dungey, Barcia & Roczen... No one else can hang for the whole race including
Canard who may get hurt on the flight over to France... Anderson and Baggett are 2nd tier...

The 1st tier riders in the 250 are Moose, Webb & Martin...

If healthy there's our team... I understand Dungey may not want to go...

Pick from these 4 First Tier Riders Dungey, Barcia, Webb, Martin

Can't see Martin not being able to ride a 450 because he will be on one soon... If it comes down between Martin &

Webb, who ever wants to go that does the best in the last 3 Nationals... How hard is this...

RV was never going to finish the season, it was just a way out og his obligation. He knew that first time he had the chance he would baile out.. Sorry but that the truth..

You're about ready for a new user name aren't you?. Sadly IP addresses are harder to change. LOL

I would think that Webb could take the 450 at Des Nations, because he'll be on the big bike at the French Supercross of Lille few weeks later.

Barcia
Martin/Webb
Justin HIll / Jason Anderson

I would almost be willing to bet money that Justin HIll or Jason Anderson will be on the team.

There is no way they go without a KTM/Husky...no freaking way.

I guess they did just grab Davi Millsaps, so he could pry fit into this haha. Can't remember the last national he raced but hey could happen.
