My uncle raced and I just sort of took it up and slowly progressed. Not the coolest story lol

Thanks, Zach!
Main differences were that we had to run a standard transmission and that we couldn't run the carbon tank and subframe like we ran in Europe. Other than that nothing too major.

Thanks for hanging out with us, Zach, it means a lot to see riders doing this sort of thing with us!

What's been your impression of the outdoor tracks so far this season? As far as prep, layout, jumps, etc goes. Anything you'd change? What would you say your ideal terrain is like? Do you like sand, loam, mud, hard-pack, etc?

Since you've got some off-road experience, which types of top-tier riders' skills impress you more? Off-road riders or moto-riders? Which riders make your jaw drop at how good they are? Or do you kind of become numb to how good everyone is because you're always competing with the best of the best?

I think you made a comment earlier about being too short to be an off-road racer, and if you haven't already, you should meet Jeff Freddette sometime lol... Short guys can go fast too, man! I say go for it, who knows, maybe you'll be the next guy to have done 30-something ISDE's

Again, thanks for the input and good luck in the rest of the year!

Hey Zach, big fan. Question for you on riding! When you're coming into a corner, and going through it, how far ahead are you looking? 30'? Seems like I can't ever figure it out right.

Thanks!
That's a tough one. It's more a comfort thing I think than a set distance.

What would you say has been the worst mistake of you career and what has been the best moment in your career, thanks again for doing this, we really appreciate it.
The worst mistake was turning pro too early and not having the right structure around me to make that jump. It's easy to get lost in the beginning. I've had lots of great moments that will last a lifetime but one of the best would be leaving the U.S. With no ride and going to Europe and finding success pretty quickly. It was really gratifying to feel the feeling that maybe I could still have a career after all that I had been through before I went there.

How cool was it for Team PR to be 3rd in the MXdN in Colorado after the 1st moto? You and Regal were taking on the world.

Zach,
How important is the Six Days to you and do you plan to stay with it?

What would it mean to you to be part of Team USA's first World Trophy win?

(I hope you and the family enjoyed the Penton movie. Thanks for being part of it.)

BroZachus....be honest, during your GP adventure did you encounter food so hideous, a bed so lumpy, people so shit headed that you felt like just coming home? Those are the usual excuses most US riders give for not going. I've been rooting for you for a long time...stay safe and keep pushin' buddy.

I think the tracks have been awesome. I'm not a fan of the huge jumps that have been added to the tracks this year. I think the are unnecessary and just kinda silly. My ideal terrain is long loamy ruts. That's what I would say I'm best in. I love to ride the sand and I feel confident that I'm good but not super special in it.

Probably the top extreme enduro guys impress me most. Johnny Walker and Graham Jarvis in particular. Those guys are crazy and I can't even imagine trying some of the stuff they do.

I've met Jeff and he is an awesome guy and an awesome rider. I actually said I was too short for endurocross and extreme stuff but not just normal off-road stuff. I think I'll be fine for that!

Thanks! I've enjoyed doing this!

It was awesome! We actually had a shot at the podium going into the last Moto but Kyle hurt his foot. We also qualified 2nd and that was awesome too!

It's really close to my heart. I'm not going this year due to bad timing but yes I definitely want to do it again! I don't think words can describe what it would mean. We've all thought about it but I'm sure it would be something else to actually make it happen!

Movie was awesome!

Thanks for the support! Definitely not would be the answer to all of those. Like anything, it is what you make it. At the end of my time there it was my new normal. There was an adjustment period to being back in the states full time. I had to lose the accent and find some new fashion when I got home!
