I thought it was a 550, but wasn't sure. Heard they are a real pain to get pistons for nowadays and the ignitions are junk. They also made a 360, 440, and 500. Pretty badass someone hacked up a FE and put in an old KTM 2 stroke. 10 grand must be pocket change for them LOL. Silly

Now someone needs to get one of those 700 2 stroke sidecar engines and put it into a modern frame.

Oh lawd, imagine the look on a KTM engineer's face when he sees someone has gone out and bought one of their most exclusive bikes, proceeded by giving no fucks, cut it in half, removed the tampon-inducing 250F motor and replaced it by a motor that could have only been made by Chuck Norris in hell.

I feel like anyone who has the mindset that a dirtbike should be "easy to ride" is going to feel violated by just looking at this picture. For some reason, that bike just screams 'fuck you'.

Lol! I have to agree with you Fearo and I'm sure the owner (and Dealer) could be pissed I leaked this out before its complete... but not unlike that monster motor I couldn't be contained!
He's got the ridiculous fab work complete but still has paint, soda blasting motor and pipe clean up to dial in along with a fresh set of #5's. It is a new '15 MM factory edition that got the motor confiscated for carting and I believe (after multiple pints) his intent is to get the KTM boys onboard and see this thing rip around 'shougal at the hands of Dungee...but if NOT, I may have to Cowboy-up and just hammer it through the gate daring anyone to get behind that Washougal clay roost to try and chase my ass down....I mean he's already come this far?!?

My 02 cr125 work in progress. Got it running pretty damn good but thinking about the doing the hpp cylinder and big bore... next will be the cosmetics (hopefully before the end of summer)
