Anyone know how they shift gears on those? It seems like they are going into second without moving their leg. Anyone know the HP?

Prob an air actuated shift mechanism controlled by a button for riders left thumb...I'm guessing.
This vid was posted in a thread here not long ago, maybe more info there.

Was just suggesting to Rooster where he might find an answer. I don't recall the previous thread topic, nor do I think it possible to keep track of everything posted here. I watched it a second time as I wasn't sure if it was the same vid. Worth another look anyway. Check out some of the vids from Planet Sand if you like this stuff, search "Wild Thing" on YouTube.

Perfect sport for a guy like Alessi or Short.

Would be cool if they used a moto starting gate, but it would have to be built VERY strong.

MXA review:
- We went with a longer PC link to lower the that rear and help the slight front end push.
- For the first time ever, we subtracted a tooth from the rear sprocket. Mostly because we were scared shitless at the thought of making a shift and wanted to delay it a bit.
- How hard would it be to get a grab handle? We burned our hand every time we tried to lift it on the crate.
