Would you order a cookie at Chick Fil-A if your total came out to be $6.66?

I watched the first few minutes and caught where he said he was waiting on something to get to the races in...guessing motorhome?? Or his own personal 18 wheeler...Reed could probably help there.

I think in one of Matthes' recent podcasts he said that Davi had contacted Chad regarding their semi.
See... that's another good excuse right there...Can't race without a semi. Or can't race without xyz. Fill in the blank.

Vs. Short when his team folds goes out and buy a bike and shows up at the next race. Hmmm...someone wants to be out there and someone else likes drama. Caitlyn Millsaps?

Suppose we will see over the next few weeks, he still isn't fit, he knows it and admits it at least, with that said I will be VERY surprised IF he can get top ten never mind top 5, I dare say he thinks the same...going to be painfully watch if he can't break top ten though. But getting over Epstein is a butch, I've been there and it's such a life taker, it's cuts you out so bad, I cannot imagine having to think about racing moto with it.

MEC is coming up and in SX we know he can be up there, I'll be glad to actually see him back racing, sure hope he can pull it together as it would be a real bad shame to watch him go from the dizzy heights of rockstar Suzuki and owning half the SX season to two years of pure crap.

Davi freakn Millsaps stand up and be counted man, come on man.

He's very guarded in that interview, he has to be obviously, but it did feel a bit hmmmmm, there's still a lot of crap that needs fixing. Could the interviewer have given him a harder time? I expect and feel there was an agreement made prior to recording, I'm a cynical twat I know.

From all that has gone on, I just don't think I can trust anything he says...

He would have a far better chance of getting back on a good team if he pulled his finger out and raced with what he (or his backers) has now. And did he buy the bikes as he made out or what is it the backers (like he also intimated) ?

Lets be honest here fellas. Barring any contractual aggreements/restrictions from his previous team.....the only thing stopping Davi from racing is the want to. If any normal moto head had his skill and recources we'd be out there. He's obviously motovated by something other than love of the sport. Time to get over it.

Or maybe he doesn't feel like racing if he can't give 100%.
I stand corrected. I hadn't considered an injury or physical reason for his not racing.

What's sad is you have a guy that hasn't completed an entire outdoor season on a 450 since his rookie year in 2006 at Honda. He's never liked outdoors, and now he's going to set up a team for the remaining few rounds of outdoors and show everyone what exactly? Or as he put it...success is the best best revenge. I wish him all the luck in attaining that success, but i don;t see it.

I was around Suzuki quite a bit in 2004 when he first came in as a pro, he was not humble at all, he was a punk kid with a serious attitude, demanded a lot from people yet many questioned his work ethic...I hear a few people still do. This is a sport where you're only as good as your last ride, and his last ride wasn't too impressive...illness or not. He can't continue to rely on 2012 and 2013 and think those two seasons will continue to get factory rides or pull in paychecks...

Not to sound crass at all, but after watching the interview and reading three pages of posts, I'm not really clear on what questions were answered; except why he chose to go with Suzuki. Did I miss something?
