Reed was willing to fill the void that sponsor money wouldnt cover.... others were not.... if he wanted to keep sinking his own money, it could probably keep going....but if he is over it....and wants to be a "rider",...than more power to him I guess....good time to close up shop....nobody racing....he had surgery and Grant is on the couch as well debating even riding again

Did they do anything specific to him, or just put out on social media that you'll hear the info when it's confirmed and you'll hear it from them.

Look at it another way... What if they're just rumours or the situation had a late change, and another sponsor doesn't know but reads this as reported as factual... That's why Kenny Watson has always said a thousand times wait for the press release.

They're right to report, as always, devil in the details. Communications embargoes are pretty normal in a lot of industries–or like Weege says, play it safe or keep it speculative, not stamping it and adjusting the article along the way...
