Hannah's Bronze Statue
Heroes In Bronze LLC is proud to introduce the Moto Industry’s first collectable Estate quality Bronze Sculpture. The “Hurricane Hannah” sculpture will be unveiled at Tom White’s Bikes and Burgers for Southern California Charity Event on May 31st, 2015. The first of the limited edition will be auctioned off with a minimum of $5,000.00 of the proceeds going to High Hopes Head Injury Program if sold.
The bronze figure consists of our hero, 7-time US Nationals MX Champion Hurricane Bob Hannah, captured in the iconic photo that freezes wild action during the 1979 250cc US Grand Prix at Unadilla NY, known as the Tree Jump. This highly detailed sculpture was created by renowned sculptor Clyde “Ross” Morgan of Sedona, AZ.

1:1 scale Statue sold for $50,000.00 last week i believe.

I read that there will be a limited run of 39 statues (I believe smaller than this one), but haven't found where they can be purchased. Any ideas?

That's so cool!! One question: how do the wheels stay where they are without any spokes?

Wonderful!

I was lucky enough to see the Primm collection before it was dismantled. The AJS in the crate is from Primm, and I assume quite a few others.

The detail is amazing!
I find it hard to believe they made another set of molds for a smaller scale.

That $50k doesn't get close to covering the first statute.

You might be able to reach them through their Facebook page: FB for Moto-Armory

Their website says they are open to the public starting in September. Moto-Armory

I guys, I have seen this project brewing for a while now and know a lot about it....Over 50 cast pieces in bronze welded/brazed together. Artist went to Terry Good's place in IL and over 3 days they completely disassembled Bob's actual factory OW to scan and measure all the parts.

The artist traveled to ID to actually measure the Hurricane! (not that kind of measurements you freaks).

Retail will be $21,000 for the 37 pcs that are left. I can see why they cost that much.

It is beautiful.

If some one is interested PM me and I can make the intro to the artist, etc.

Thx!

Todd

I thought about this thread and that wonderful piece of art all day. Damn it , if I was rich I'd have that thing hanging in my entry between my two huge round stair cases! Man that thing is just awesome!

Maybe this will inspire a company to make a resin statue in 1/6 or 1/9 scale that would be affordable for the AVERAGE GUY. Just a thought.
